i do feel for those that did not manage to get orders through in time, i had 2 orders as i placed order for most wanted then had a longer look and found some more bits, ironicly the first order with my "most wanted" was cancelled, had to reorder at full price on mums credit card, and have been promised refund - although i am nervous about this order as still showing "being processed" the second order went through ok, and has dispatched. i have had many problems with boots and there couriers, and they have let me down time and time again.

although i did get a very very minute surprise i ordered a fusion gift set and 2 lynx temptation sets and got a trial size bottle of "johnsons holiday skin body lotion, and a hugo boss for men sample and a lacoste pink sample" was not expecting that.

Just spoke to a lovely woman at CS. She says the sale may not be put back up because what's happened has upset a lot of people. The reason they took it off was because the system got overloaded and they lost people's orders. She said if you've had a cancellation confirmed by email you would have lost your order in the system that's why. If you haven't had a cancellation, she said that your order is probably still ok, and is going through. She said that as far as she could see on screen, nothing was missing from my order, so will be despatched over the weekend. So fingers crossed for mine, and those still waiting.

My DH came home from work to a big pile of toys on the dining table. 'What's that lot' he asked me. I said 'It's from the Boots sale'

His response....'I know you are always TELLING me you get bargains, but even I'm not daft enough to think you got that lot from a (car) boot sale.'

I got my confirmation email at 3:04am thurs morning,but still not dispatched,says 'order being processed' i just hope i get it now,waited up every night for a week till 5am before the sale started thinking 'today is the day'

If you haven't already had a cancellation, you should be ok, that's what CS said to me earlier.

Went yesterday evening and not much there really. I ended up spending my points on regular stuff. Got a Royal Jelly gift set for my mum for mothers day and some no5 talc (as she loves that but that wasnt in the sale:rolleyes: )
Maybe they got more stuff out now

I had an email stating it will be back on when they fixed the problem with the website and then this was made worse when so many peopel tried to log on. Its not in Boots best interests not to start the sale again. They have the stock (masses of it according to my basket and I can get 99 of most things I want). Also with all the cancelled orders and misplaced orders they will have a lot left. What will they do with it?

Got my dispatch e-mail for the 3 items I ordered, with 3 parcel numbers, so very pleased as I half expected it to be cancelled. The delivery isn't due until Tuesday though, so maybe it will arrive early?
