boots 75% off????

Am I the only person who hasnt recieved any emails from Boots?
I have an order placed at 3.19 that is being processed but no emails what so ever but I also have a delivery promise of the 19th so who knows - Im guessing my order was one placed just before the site crashed and will have to be looked into manually.
I just want post and well my HDN driver is fine :j

I received my despatch emails at around 16.30 yesterday but I was still expecting delivery on the 19th, I hadn't even tracked my orders so was surprised when they arrived this am. You'll be able to to track your delivery and see when its going to arrive hopefully.

hello awaytogo yet, sorry you snuck in there while i was doing my hair ! thanks, i got the dispatched email but on the tracker thingy as you say it just says sorted. so presumably im good to go out as there is no mention of loaded onto van or anything. so it will come monday or possibly later tonight or is that hoping for too much? i havent been to a boots store this week and wanted to get out the house with ds for a while and pop into a small one. thanks for help

normally yes... but you never know with HDN!!!

Later today/over weekend it should change and show as arrived at your local branch and then it will show the scan onto the van and say out for delivery.

The good/bad thing about HDN is if you are not in they normally leave the parcels in a safe place... (although sometimes the drivers idea of safe differs to mine :rotfl: )

Hi everyone, my order arrived this morning. I ordered just before 6am Wednesday morning and paid the extra for next day delivery due to been at work next Monday. The parcel was a day late and Boots have refunded the charge for delivery, but i sympathise with everyone out there still awaiting the outcome of their order. It has been a total shambles this year, and do hope they can get the sale up and running again online. I read earlier in the thread that they are sending alot out to stores to sell, and the CS Advisor i spoke to last night regards my order said he didnt think it would come back online!

i ordered at 5.04am and its still showing as being processed. i'll be really annoyed if they cancel it, as i'd only ordered 4 things for the kids birthdays/xmas. we went to bolton reebok on wednesday am, and it was a battle ground. people actually had 2 or 3 trolleys full of items - i'm talking 10+ of the same item. As others have suggested, boots should put a limit of say 2 or 3 of the same item so that there is more to go round. rant over now!

I totally agree if some people were not so greedy then everyone would get some bargains and the site might not have crashed in the first place. The best thing boots can do next year a put a limit on the quantity or maximum value of sale items people can buy online, Because greed just ruins it for everyone. I personally went to the store and bought a few things I didnt even try on the web site because I know some daft people would stay up all night waiting for it to start whats the point? get a life.

I remember seeing the very same a few years back, 1 woman, 4 trolleys. She was getting really nasty with people too if you tried to get anything she wanted. In the end people were just taking it out of her trolleys when her back was turned. Sad how greedy it makes some people ain't it. Went to the local one Wed am, got 4 things out of vouchers I got from pigsback, and went online in the pm, to see if I could get some more bits for pressies (which hopefully I did). But I certainly would haven't bought 3 and 4 of them. I don't have it in me to buy multiple items in sales as it's so unfair for everyone else when people do that.

Totally agree that people shouldn't be able to buy loads of the same item to sell on. I have ordered just over £100 worth of stuff that i have told myself i 'need' but it is totally for personal use and not to sell on. Particularly in store i don't think that wholesale buying should be allowed.

Yes i set the alarm to wake up for the start of the sale, i have 4 kids and i can save a little by doing that. my local store doesn't have much in at all. i still have a life.
