I spoke to a cs earlier tonight who told me that the sale online had been suspended because of volume of traffic and some things on there that shouldn,t have been. He said he is almost sure the 75% sale will back up and running on line tomorrow but didnt know what time. Sure its worth a look.0 -

I am sure you would not feel that the service was that bad, I note you got your order and I also note at 4am, so some serious planning there methinks
Perhaps you would not be so happy if you had not got your order through, like many young mums the housebound and others who just could not get out today, but spent hours trying to get the service that they should have got, and were looking forward to their bargains, many have been planning this for weeks.
I'll 2nd that.
It is frustrating to go through pages and pages on the boots site, adding items to your basket and then to suddenly find yourself locked out, waiting hours for it to come back and still find it's not sorted out.
Boots online store has to be the worst at times like this. I know last year I was lucky but I did feel for those who were struggling to get on the site etc.
And, I absolutely hate greedy, vulture like people, who just grab everything in sight :mad: :mad: :mad: leaving nothing for others, so they can make a few quid on ebay. Boots should limit sale items to 2 per person, Boots may also find that they will have less problems in future if they were to take this measure. Just a thoughtAnd no offence to those greedy beggers out there :mad:

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, wish I'd received my e-mail before 7.30pm last night! Didn't know about the Boots sale yesterday because I'm in Italy at the moment, but would have loved to buy some bits! :think:0

my order wouldn't go through yesterday either
and when I went into my basket today
all items were shown as full price :eek:
So didn't get anything from the offers

Have to agree with you Emmylivy!
I'm unable to get to any stores during opening hours due to working in the middle of nowhere, so I got up early to put my order in before leaving for work, which obviously failed. I then sneaked on throughout the day trying to process it (we are not allowed to use the internet during working hours, so I was being a bit naughty here) and then got home to find my basket is stuck full with full price items.
Boots get a lot of money from me and my family throughout the year, so it would have been nice to pick up a few little bargains to treat myself (for once) and also my family.
I think its understandable that people who can only use the internet for such an occasion, should be frustrated by what happened yesterday! I know we are not 'guaranteed' these offers, but Boots have a lot of internet based customers, I think its only fair we get treated the same as those who can get into the stores. It would be different if the sale was just not going to be online, but to offer something then take it away, is just not nice!0 -
Just reading the post a few pages back about the woman who wanted things for ebay! what a cheek! I went to our local store yesterday (Cambridge) to get a few bits to put away for birthdays etc and it was like a rugby scrum, people had baskets and baskets of things and as soon as the assistants were putting new things out they were grabbing and snatching at least three or four things so think they were also ebayers! Boots sale not as good as last year but I got a few bits for inlaws, brothers etc.
