Went in to local store before work this morning. Spent 45.00 and save over £135. Went back in at lunch time and not much left but staff were putting things out. Got a coin sorter for £4.89 and a wireless radio for the bathroom for £6.11 Condoms in a box £1.71 for about 12 with a lubricant. Ted Baker and FC gift sets and much more. Thanks again to the original post.

I got some great stuff at Teford Forge branch this morning including Lego Duplo and Doctor Who stuff. The staff were shocked that the store was mobbed at 9am as they had not even finished putting the 75% off signs up yet. One of them asked me how everyone knew about it so early as they are told to keep it quiet. Anyway don't forget to check the advantage card machine for the spend £35 and get 300 points voucher anyone going tomorrow. I'm going back for a Saint Tropez set if there's anything left.

  • Thanks to MSE after Christmas I LOVE looking at the threads getting ready for the Boots sale, in fact the site crashing is our fault we are a victim of our own MSE success...so many are aware the sale is happening.

Last year at Blackpool I knew the sale was starting thanks to postings on here, I set off from Barrow at 5AM and was first in the queue, the store opened and there were three of us waiting to get in, I had bags galore, spent 200 points and did not buy another present all year.

This year I am housebound unable to get out I have tried to access site and am unable to like so many others and have admited defeat.

HOWEVER I do not think I am sad, and I DO have my life in perspective, I am recovering from a Life saving operation and am still upset I cannot get all my Boots bargains because they are such a big save. This year due to a credit crunch more stores are offering bargains and sales but it was only boots in the past that offered such value.

So I think its a kinda MoneySaving Pilgrimage for the old MSE people and thats why people are upset missing such big savings.

:rotfl: What angers me more is when I look on ebay to see people posting their Boots buys I know its not illegal but its a sign of greed......finally I love the MSEr who popped in for a prescription and sent 60.00 after finding the sale by accident I like those tales and you go girl get more bargains tomorrow!!!
I wished upon a star tonight that I would see you once more,
To hold you in my arms and tell you how much I love you,
To hear your voice, to kiss your cheek oh for just one more time,
But all I have are memories and a heart full of love and tears.
  • The sale seems to have gone off the website  Unless I'm blind

Gave up trying to order online as it keep crashing, so went to my local Boots instead. They had a fair amount left, but it was selling fast. Got about £50 worth of goodies. Broke it up into £5ish purchases to get the £5 with £5 spend No7 vouchers, has they had loads of regular No7 items reduced to just under £5, so stocked up on these as well. All in all a great days shopping :j

Hope you'll soon be well :grouphug:
I found this today. 2 GIRLS CAME IN AND BOUGHT THE WHOLE SHOP UP PRACTICALLY:mad: I hardly got anything. They bought all the stock of everything they liked. I was so cross I came on here and had a rant :o.

Peoples greed as usual, ruins it for everyone.
