Depends on the version of your remote.
If there is no version information under the battery cover then assume its version 1.

    version 1 code is 088
    version 4/5/6 code is 646
another one i have seen on other forums to try is 067 but not sure what version remote this applies to.

Ok, sorry to take this slightly off topic but, thought this would be the ideal place to post..............

Has anyone managed to tune their Sky+ remote control into the TV? Have followed all the instructions in the Sky+ book and used the "0060" Samsung code but it deosn't seem to work. Anyone any views / thoughts?

    Thanks cloud_dog

Has anybody returned one of the Samsung TVs to Freemans? We are torn between this one and another make. We like the look of the Samsung but there are so many conflicting reports about it, so we thought we might order one and if we didn't like it, return it but looking at their terms and conditions, it says that TVs are excluded from their 14 day return policy.

Alison I bought a 37" Toshiba when this offer first hit the boards and it was delivered about 3 weeks ago, the paperwork with it stated keep or return by 7 March, I was struggling to see any improvement over my current plasma, so rang up to confirm I could return it last Thursday, and they confirmed I had until the 7th, requested to return it and they organised a pick up by Amtrak today. They were happy with my reason being it was not up to my expectations.

Got the 32inch Samsung delivered from Freemans last week. Great picture, built in freeview is excellent, our Sky works fine on it.

It means it will be able to receive High Definition transmissions when they begin - Sky are starting them in the next few months, and the BBC are set to follow. More info here.

You won't need a Freeview box - it's all built in.
will it work with good old fashioned normal digital sky

    Yes.

Simplistically, it has the ability to display High Definition content (from Sky/Telewest HD or PC for example).

Integrated digital tuner means freeview receiver is included in the telly without the need for an external box

    yes
