Welcome thenanny2die4  this is a lovely board :)

I love the idea of bendy-veg soup - that's great :) I think some of the stuff in the bottom of my fridge has gone past bendy though _pale_ I think it *used* to be pak choi in a former life... :o

  • well i have been at home today had til fri to complete my first masters module and there was no way i could get my head round it today so after emailing tutor i now have a 2wk extension so time for butt to get into gear, trouble is with working full time its hard to fit in study time and as i hadnt planned to be doing it for next 2wks i hadnt allocated any time in myy diary oh well lets hope i can rearrange at least one day.

had to have laminate floor relaid this morning was told around 9am at 8am just got out of bed and they arrived so had drilling going on which wasnt great at that time but positive is that my front door now closes easily rather than needing a good shove.

made veggie soup for lunch think i over did it with carrots but thinking of the health benefits, thats my lunches sorted til the end of the week.

having sausages, mash and cabbage for tea, found the sausages in fridge with use by for tommorow so was a choice of freeze them or use them.

got to go and do the wii fit this eve trying to do the body test every day as it will keep me focused on getting fitter and losing a stone.

Took the car in to get the radio fixed and came out with a new car:eek:

How did I do that :o:o:o Well in my defence it is a demo car with just over 2,000 on the clock, exactly the same as the Fabia we have but a 58 registered last June - same colour as my old one, British Racing Green although they call it Highland Green. So thats my debt free plans up the pole!!

I did talk it over with OH before I signed on the dotted line, and brought it back to the apartment when I was having a 'test drive' they know me so well at the garage they let me out on my own!!! He likes it, says its my money so if I want it get it!!!! am wondering if there is something I do not know about going on, after all he is a Scot, and never carries money:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: think we might need a double scan tomorrow:D :D .

He has been fine today, no DD's we will see what tomorrow brings.

Chicken casserole for supper with spuds, carrots and cauli, bit sure whats for dessert, might be banana and ice cream.

  • Little bear has just found the chocolate Advent calendar I forgot about in December. I will let you fill in the blanks.

Today seems to be a bit of a non event, but I am sure it will get better as dear heart is out tonight.

    Hugs to all

I have peeled some potatoes while little bear was finally having a short nap, so I suppose I ought to do something about it.

I've booked another viewing, so I shall have to break the news to dear heart when he gets in.
