I did send an e mail to LM and had a nice reponse today, saying that a form would be sent out today
Do you mean that they are sending a form to you specifically because you requested one in your email to LM, or do you mean that they implied that all forms are going out today? Does that make sense? Thanks.0 -
With me, LM replied the following day, followed up by a phone call from one of her colleagues the next day after.0

e mailed yesterday and reply today. I really don`t think I will be treated as a special case re the forms so perhaps we can all look forward to the post over the next couple of days0

No fixed rate bond form today, and still haven't had the courtesy of a reply to my email sent to LM a couple of days ago.0

Still no forms, will chase after Monday but surely they know if they have sent them all or not. I can't see why we need to be chasing. Problem is how long will it take to get a cheques once the forms have been sent back???? 2 of my bonds have matured in December.0

Can you believe it? My form is here!!!!! The account was joint, but the leter is only addressed to me. Is this normal?
Guys, I am hoping that you received yours today too.0 -
Bingo!
It's 9.45 am Saturday and the FSCS form has finally arrived!!! In view of non response to emails and useless telephone conversations with FSCS, I was beginning to think I'd been eliminated from their records.
I've photocopied the form to fill in first before attempting the original (don't intend to make any basic mistake on the original which could cause any hold up). Even photocopied the envelope, so if push comes to shove I know where I will have sent the form if need-be (the whole thing is developing mystique out of all proportion - so long has this form been awaited and worried over).
The form is only the first hurdle in the quest for compensation for my fixed rate bond, but it's a start.
I sincerely hope that everyone else has their form in today's post, and will keep checking this thread.0
