Pickle some. Very MSE & OS.
A tip for omlettes: After you add the beaten eggs (and after you've fried the other stuff, if making a Spanish omlette, etc.) turn down the heat REALLY low and leave for 10 minutes (Yes, 10!). At about 5 minutes, fire up the grille and finish the omlette off under there. It will fluff up and will not stick (not even to my old pan, which looked like the underside of a Space Shuttle). The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
I used to do a souffle with the whites and a non-white omelette with the yolks with milk or French toast with the yolks too. Also ordinary omelette or a 6 egg scrambed egg.

We keep chooks, and when I've got a glut of eggs, I make loads of sponge cakes and freeze them for when we get visitors0

My shopping arrived today and I realised I ordered more eggs...and there is already loads!
Anyone got any good egg recipes? That uses the whole egg preferably. Maybe something I can do batch and freeze.
I did a quick search and couldnt find another thread about eggs so I am sorry if there is already one somewhere!!2010 is the year of bargain shopping! Time to money save, exercise and plan! I like to keep busy0 -
Hi Wardi,
The search function can be a pain at times! There are lots of suggestions on this thread that might help:
Eggs eggs and more eggs!
I'll merge your thread with that one later to keep all the ideas together.

hey there, have a box of eggs that need to be used by today, was going to use them for my 2yr old and 1 year old daughters tea, Trouble is for some strange reason neither of them like omelette which would have been an obvous choice and have also run out of bread to do scrambled egg on toast!
My brain has gone blank and can't think of anything else i can do lol!!
Any ideas??
