ta head out sand - I love the fact we all sing from the same value. low price, reduced section, song sheet.
only prob i have with recipes is that i don't measure anything - except cakes which are an evil science - and must be measured (well not pancakes, or scones but real cakes)
On sofa nursing sore back, hence a million posts I am invalidated (or something ) hmm invalided - its a good excuse.............
Oh no poor you, hope you feel better soon! Chicken soup (or the equivalent for sore backs?) for you!
Yeh I had to think about the measurements for the recipe, I "cook from the heart" as well, he he. Well that's what I like to call it!

www.non-evil-lodgers.com (ps not a real website) - they don't get maps to secret ice caves, always put the toilet seat back down, come in - have tea 6pm and then disappear til breakfast - at 7 ish am - then they go to work all day before 8am and then come back and return to their room. I took the go home at weekend option too - so its working quite well.
Seemingly they are not all like this.
Highly recommended.
Excellent, I'll check it out he he! Do they have an "actually pay attention to the cleaning rota they PROMISED they would follow" option by any chance? Or is that too much to ask?!0 -

Sorry rolliing round hysterically laughing - anyone who lives in this house but me clean something - 'fraid not.
I opted for the adding enough onto the rent for a cleaner once a week. Therefore I secretly snigger when they make a mess thinking 'ha - I got you my pretty'. they pay for my house to be cleaner than it would be normally.
All good. Learnt that one from my lovely surrogate mummy - a champion of self reliance - she reckons dont get angry get even or infact - put in contingency for folks not sticking to promises!!.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Brednall – sorry to hear about your elbow
RachelMK – hope you feel better
Andan – You do so much don’t beat yourself up about it too much by missing today (I know how you feel as I get annoyed with myself for things that I don’t do too)
Fayjmck – congrats on the funding
Juicygirl – sorry to hear your day at work was not too good
Pipsmum – If you are reading – congrats!!
My dfw things (in Surrey) today:
- Had breakfast at home before taxi turned up at 7am (saved on buysing anything at airport had I not been organised
- Wrote to do list on plane
- Found 2 cents (euros not us currency) :rotfl:
- Found 2p
- Got free item which I will Ebay at some point
- Forgot toothbrush but hotel gives out complimentary toothbrush/toothpaste (so I got that at reception)

- Various free smellies in hotel room:T
- Good supply of tea and biscuits (sampled already):D
- Greggs – had a sausage roll (used 50p luncheon voucher) paid 25p cash – normally take lunch with me but since I’m not at home not much choice
- Didn’t buy any drinks for lunch (used free tea and water machine at work) :A
- Popped into Local Boots to see what sale items left for 75% off sale and checked opening times too

- Will write list of items to buy if 75% sale is on
- Dinner – free – to claim back on expenses
- Spent 1 hour on phone to DH  to get him to help me to connect on internet (got him to use his work mobile to phone me for 20 mins, remainder of time used my mobile but I did get £8 free call time last week
- Will claim £10 allowance for phone calls, papers etc through work expenses

- M&S – got mens shirt from Autograph range marked down to £9 but I pointed out dirty mark on sleeve so reduced it to £5 (most a manager can mark down to?) (putting away for DH as present), halloween felt material bag 50p (reduced from £2.50 then £1), newborn baby girl bib and hat set reduced to 50p, snowman baking set 50p (they had 2 sets one at £1 and one at 50p (missing cookie cutter), got SA to mark down the £1 one (with cookie cutter) to 50p, this was originally £5, then £3, then £2… :T
- Superdrug – a pair of black ankle socks with silver stars 10p
and Bubblegum brand printed boxer shorts in box – No1 dad 49p (still had a clearance label of £2.99 – was £4.99) - Sainsbury’s – popped in to have a nosey – no bargains to be had but satisfied that I checked!
- See if I can get stain off new M&S shirt and dry on hotel radiator
- Resisted buying two reduced cards from M&S 25p and 50p (as I have so much materials to make my own and already filled a bag at The Works for £1 last year :A
- Left work a good 10 mins early as taxi turned up 15 mins earlier (so had no choice really) :rotfl:
- Charged mobile at work
- Took free sachet sample of face cream with me to use
- Will e-mail sister to say I have transferred money from my paypal a/c into her a/c so she withdraws it for me
- Will take out clothes from bag and hang up (save me digging through unsorted bag tomorrow morning at 7:15am! (long lie compared to my usual 6:30am get up)
That’s all I can think of. Pleased with my bargains. :TTesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)0 -
That's a good idea...I might offer them that (no, offer?? I mean threaten
)
"Do u want to stick to the rota or do you want me to up your rent in exchange for a cleaner??"
I've got an injured arm at the moment (and according to physio, will have for around 9 months more
) so as much as I'm normally resigned to doing the majority of the cleaning, I can't lift the hoover and can't do too much housework at once or I end up in agony by the end of the day.
You'd think having to listen to me moaning on the couch would be enough to persuade people to pick up the hoover, if only to shut me up!! :rotfl:0 -
EEEK to the arm - poor you - I blame competitive log chopping with my 14 year old son, only have myself to blame.
As to cleaners - tee hee - dont know how you tackle it - say with your arm you are thinking of getting some help - but it might mean an increase in rent - see if they bite?Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
