I am networking like crazy, when I do the wedding fairs it will be better because I will actually be able to talk to couples, I am not too fussed that things are a bit quiet at the mo:rolleyes: Its the same for my fellow students too - we are all in the same boat:rolleyes:

I think the previous webby folks wanted to charge me for moving my site but as the domain belongs to me then there isnt much they can do about it. I hate moving it to be honest but it will be cheaper in the long run as I will be able to change it myself without having to fork out all the time. I also have a blog on blogspot where I talk about all sorts of things and ponder the whys and wherefores of life today:D

Talking of stinky things - I once bought some cheese for a cheeseboard (everytime I stayed with my mate Serena down in Epsom, I would always do the cheese for after dinner). Well I decided one day to be a bit posh and bought a lump of Stinking Bishop (its quite tasty if you can get past the stink), well it was too smelly for the indoor fridge so it was put in the outside beer fridge but then when Paul went to the beer fridge he couldnt stand the stink so it was moved to the shed at the bottom of the garden - I think they used it as fox repellent because we never ate it:rotfl:

I am the queen of snotty letters as is my mum (she of the anti-parish council)...if you have a plan let me know what it is and I will see what I can do.

:rotfl: The ladies of snotty letters! Yay us!

Horace, you're absolutely best off moving your website so you can alter it yourself - I do my own - tho I should update the links much more often than I do.

Wol - hope you aren't getting down about the villagers harrassing you - sounds **terrible** - of course you have to cut stuff back. I've learned that from bitter experience, and you'd think people living in an area like yours would know that.

Hampton Court Flower Show - nice one! I went a few years ago, loved the actual plant displays as well as all the *stuff* you can put in your garden :rotfl:

    Sleep well.

Wol - the villagers see you as an incomer and therefore not to be trusted, I think you have to live in a village for 40 years at least before you become one of them:rotfl:

Resorting to malicious reports to the police and council and vicious notes through your letterbox sounds a bit freaky to me - are you sure you are not living in the village of the damned? They are such a poisonous crowd that I would be inclined to go out in the middle of the night with some weedkiller - do you see where I am going with this? although you would have to put a bit of weedkiller on your patch too so it looks as though you've been attacked too (I am sure you have a weedpatch that needs treating):rotfl:

S'pose I had better do some work - I also need to poke about in the freezer because dopey here left the door partly open yesterday afternoon and didnt notice until about 9pm at night:eek:

Dear lovely letter writing ladies (& numpty, who has had his own successes) :p

I wrote in March 2008 to complain about a particularly disastrous flight which delayed me by 48 hours at a remote airport, with NO support. I got no reply

Then I wrote a complaing e-mail to the same airline (different complaint) in January this year. And because I was angry at being ignored I followed it up with a 2 line e-mail every month saying "Haven't heard from you, for either complaint."

Last Thursday, some 15 months later, I got a phone call to apologise about my delay back in March 2008. I said my complaint wasn't about the delay, but about the lack of support and the dishonesty of their agent. She said "sorry" and she "understood" my anger etc, but there would be no compensation. She agreed that her apology was worthless as it was so late, but that was all I was getting. She had no idea of the January complaint (I guess that will be dealt with April 2010)

Do I have to resign myself to getting nothing? Can you think of anywhere I could take this further????

I'm in awe of your successes, I'd like a little bit to rub off on me :p

Smashed & Wol, you look gorgeous, and yes Wol, you look a little tense, so I'm glad S was there too.

Here is the consumer body to write to Olive....providing you've made your complaints to the airline in writing. Who was the airline.......they should have a complaints procedure on their web site and that normally needs to be followed first.......but as the airline are not replying, they could be in breach of their own compalints system and then AUC may elect to get involved. Even if compensation for the delay is not covered....it's always worth trying for compensation for the time and materials you have spent trying to follow through the complaint.......

    Good luck
