    You just love letter writing:p

Nope....I don;t actually Numpty...but I appear to have some skills in that direction ........and as Horace says....pen is mightier etc. so I find it makes "dispute resolution" and "CYA" easier........

.......and if it's in writing it's more difficult for someone to wriggle out or deny if it goes to court (or more particularly, if someone tries to take me to court :D)

    How's you today Hun?

    Woo hoooo:j:j:j:j:j:j

Smashed is on her way down for a couple of days....

She's coming with me to my mums surprise family birthday party tomorrow (except it's not a surprise because mum knows about it :confused:) at some posh hotel.....we is getting all glammed up for the occasion.

But tonight the plan WAS to have a girlie night in watching the Boss play Glastonbury on the BBC.........so imagine how furious I am to find that the Beeb is only covering Bruce in the highlights programme....i.e. two or three songs at most..... .:cry::cry:..how on EARTH can they NOT show his whole set??......it's criminal .....instead they're showing the whole of Franz Ferdinand .......:mad:

Right whooshing off now to tidy up the pit before Smashed gets here :D

    See you all later

Hope you and smashed have a grand old time.

Numpty may have learnt to cook something by the time he comes down - my charity shop quest for an easy cookbook has paid dividends, its just a pity that the postoffice decided to be shut today otherwise I would have posted it:mad:

Lovely, wol and smashed, hope you've had a great weekend by the time you read this - my computer chucked me off earlier today before I could post anything, but its graciously allowed me to come back now.

I think I got the rest of your thunderstorm yesterday, Wol - really loud crash bangs, only a mile or so from where I was at a train station in Greenwich, I don't like being outside in thunderstorms, I must say.... it was okay tho, the trains kept running.

LOL at your letter writing Wol - I'm usually good at that myself, maybe the reason Sky threw me for a loop this week is that it was verbal - I have a letter writing mode I call "middle class snotty" - and it works a treat - I complained one time about being told off for how I crossed the road by a young policeman ( seriously! I'm not making that up!) and I got a police inspector ringing up to come round and apologise, I was astonished!

I'm having a very lazy day today - probably the most I'm going to do is finish my washing up :rotfl: Have a good one, you two!

Had a lovely weekend with Smashed and just said goodbye (for the second time this morning...she forgot something and had to come back.....no don;t worry, I had already locked up my shoes :rotfl:)

Well The Boss (what we saw of him...and the BBC 2 only gave us the last hour....while BBCMusic 6 only gave us the first few numbers :mad::mad::mad:) was brilliant.....

So great girlie saturday evening.....then an unfortunately long drive due to traffic accidents on the M4 to and from the West Country on sunday (with an early morning start :()....however mum's birthday party went smoothly and she really enjoyed herself. It was small hotel in a lovely country setting (me and Smashed are going to buy it and run it when we win the lottery ;)).....with a heated outdoor swimming pool so the kids were entertained for the whole afternoon and there were few hotel guests so we essentially had our own private function outdoors on the terrace with barbecue and jazz band. Got back absolutely knackered late yesterday evening...

This morning is glorious so I am going to sit in the newly found sunshine in my garden reading a business plan for a new client. This afternoon Beechie goes back to the vet for his next injection.....Existing client write up MUST also be finished by tomorrow evening....so if I;m on here too much 'til then, please kick me off!

That's all for now......scurries off to find bikini :D
