    what can I say.....

GAAAAAAAA !!!!!! they cancelled me, after taking blood & vitals, and drawing a big black arrow on my leg  in permanent marker

back to waiting, so diary will have to wait :(

re: the tree piccies....didn't realise you were so bushy Wol ;)

GJ that's really bad luck ....why did they postpone...was it because of an emergency or because of the blood results? Did they give you a reason?...........

I can really appreciate your frustration as you have organised your domestic arrangements for the time you would be incapacitated and now it's all up in the air again......
Have you got a new date yet?

Hugs Hun and hugs to Mrs GJ and the little jacks too...

I feel your frustration GunJack - they did that with me at the eye hospital once - I had had nil by mouth since midnight and had a huge black arrow drawn above the eye they were going to operate on and I sat there for hours and hours until late afternoon by which time I was dying of thirst and hunger and they told me they cancelled it due to an emergency:mad:

I have a confession I didnt use my LVs yesterday - I ate in a different restaurant in Selfridges:rolleyes: My morning meeting was cancelled too but at least the guy rang me to say it was cancelled due to him getting a last minute job. I have paid out yet more money for a shiny new website (trouble is they don't do POP3 accounts to my business email will have to point at my home one until such time as I can sort out another one for it to be aimed at:rolleyes:) My new site will be more user friendly and will have the added benefit of me being able to amend it myself instead of being ripped off everytime I wanted to make a change:j

Its hot n humid here - the sky is very grey and we have been told to expect severe thunderstorms today:rolleyes: Suppose I had better go shopping whilst its still dry-ish:rolleyes:

    Hi Horace

Got woken up at 5am this morning by a clap/roll/explosion of thunder that was so loud I though Gatwick airport had blown up. So I got up from the floor (I had dived for cover :o), logged on and saw young Numpty had been posting at silly o'clock again on Troll thread :naughty::naughty:...(don;t worry I'll make sure he sleeps proper on his next visit darn sarf ), had a cup of tea and checked all the weather. Warning.... severe rainfall/flashfloods etc forecast for my area around about 10am....:eek::eek::eek: ......so.......... I went back to bed :rotfl:and didn;t wake up 'til 09.30am.:o..and we've had no rain at all :confused:

I tried to get Sainsbury's to take my LV's yesterday but they wouldn't scan...and as it was late, I couldn;t be bothered to wait for a supervisor.......next time I'm going to tescos

Good news about the web site....are you going to [STRIKE]post[/STRIKE] ooops PM us all a linky when it's up and running so we can trial it for you?

My only (and very insignificant compared to you and GJ) "cancelled-at-the-last-minute- op" was going to the dentist to have my wisdom tooth extracted about 25 years ago....she dosed me up with 50million injections, then said "I'll just take an X ray to check"....then she said "I'm just going upstairs to have a chat with my husband who's also a dentist"..............Wol starts to sweat...Wol REALLY hates being in the dentist chair................then dentist came back and said...."it's too close to the nerve...you need to have this done in hospital". Well I was in no position to form any words because my mouth was so numb...(I guess she was counting on that :rotfl::rotfl:)..and I had to go back to work for the rest of the day...and it didn;t wear off until late that evening :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Hope you have a lovely weekend Hun....se you on the other side

I will let you know when the shiny website goes live - anyway, you can look at the current one in the meantime by clicking on my name and viewing my homepage (MSE is nice like that:cool:).

I hate dentists too - I have deliberately bitten a few in my time:rotfl: - they hurt me so I hurt them..simples..whatever they did to hurt me they didnt do it again. Now I have a lovely University dentist who has piccies on the ceiling so I look at them (the only time I feel faint is if I see the tray of tools and needles:eek:)..I now know that there are 1025 grey hairs on the monkey whose face peers down at me from the ceiling:rotfl:

Letter writing is good Numpty...a pen is often mightier than the sword and it achieves results:D

I got rained on today - I managed to get to Lidl (I had a £5 voucher from the daily express to use) and as I was driving back the sky went really black and it was so dark I had to put my lights on - then as soon as I pulled up outside my flat the heavens opened - no thunder though:D Now there is another severe weather warning out for next week - extreme heat where temperatures are expected to top 32 degrees:eek: Maybe I should go camping?

quick, before they shut us down....

quick update - op cancelled as they couldn't get a senior anethsetist ...they borrowed a junior one for the minor ops, but apparently she wasn't comfortable with the bigger ones  (told you I was a big boy ;))

so...waiting to hear now, have said I'll go short notice if I can...I hate waiting :(, however, might be able to get my computing sideline up and running before rather than after the op :)

    cya all soon:wave:

No senior anaesthetist ..curses.........if you weren't so far oop nawf I'd have asked me brother to go up and gas you.......but he probably wouldn;t have got there in time..:D

Still, I'm glad to hear that was the only reason it was postponed.

Does this mean you have no excuse to sit in the garden all this weekend GJ?
