Evening all,

I feel like poop so i'm just posting my lists and then i'm going to bed.

Hugs for anyone who needs one.

Todays list

Monday, Living Room, Hall & Stairs
Sort junk drawer or cupboard
Sort understairs cupboard
Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining day
Level One
[STRIKE]Sweep the floor[/STRIKE]
Level Two
Clean the oven and hob.
Wipe the fronts of appliances and cupboards
Wipe the table and dress in a clean cloth if required.
Level Three
[STRIKE]Scrub the sink and shine the taps
Mop the floor[/STRIKE]
clean out a cupboard.. whichever you fancy..
Extras

1. Wash the windows and sills
2. Wipe out the fridge
3. Run the WM and DW through a clean cycle.. clean filters and door seals first

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is.............. to get everything ready the night before. SMTWTFS
Plus to clear my ironing basket everyday unless there are fewer than 5 items in there.

Oh damn! It's going to be one of those nights!
I've had my burgundy & cream bedding for about a year and it's been washed loads of times. Tonight I put it on a hot wash to try to remove the blueberry puke stains and the burgundy has run into the cream! I might be having a trip to Dunelm's sale tomorrow.

Monday - living room/hall/stairs
Level One
[STRIKE]Declutter the living room , hallway and stairs[/STRIKE]
Clear and tidy the mantle - We do not have one !!
Level Two
[STRIKE]Vacuum the cleared floors and up the stairs.. under furniture if you can move it safely![/STRIKE]
Sort through coats and shoes and bag
[STRIKE]Sort through the drawer or cupboard that you stuff junk in!
[/STRIKE]Level Three
Check smoke alarms.. change any batteries that need doing
[STRIKE]Sort the understair cupboard/mess
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Dust the flat surfaces[/STRIKE]
Extras

1. Make an appointment for some ME-time.. go get your hair done, half an hour shopping, coffee with a friend..
2. Wash the windows in these rooms
3. wipe all the stairs edges/spindles/handrails etc up the stairs - currently being painted so cannot do that !
4. Wash any soft furnishings that are in need! - Cleaned leather sofa

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining day

Wipe paintwork
Sort through a cupboard.. make it neat and tidy and get rid of what you no longer wear/need/use

1. Sort through a box of junk fom the landing
2. Binbag dance
3. [STRIKE]Collect all the dirty laundry from upstairs! [/STRIKE]Washed and on airers to dry overnight

We moved from a 3 bed semi with very little space to a 5 bed detached - courtesy of the credit crunch:T We are in the process of rennovating it but also need to keep it clean -when we moved in it was disgusting.

My main problem is i have chronic hematoid arthritis and Crohn's disease which makes cleaning hard - however by following these points i feel like i have achieved something !!

I am pretty good at keeping on top of hoovering, laundry and ironing but am prone to becoming slack on the extras which this thread helps get under control !

I have just wathced Trinny and Susannah which is going to make me sort out my wrdrobe as it is full of unflattering, scruffy frumpiness.:mad:

List updated ready for tomorrow and edited as my bedroom is not too bad at all - floor is clear and window was done at the weekend, cupboards are pretty good, the landing is clear and the few bits of washing are in the laundry basket waiting for enough for a full load

Didn't get the floor washed tonight but am just too tired got everything else i wanted done though so feeling reasonably pleased.

Not looking forward to tomorrow - all 3 of our bedrooms are shameful! I just shut the doors and try to forget they're there. But we have nothing on tomorrow so it'll will be a proper , full on effort tomorrow.

But I'm off to my bed. If I can get the dog off the pillow end. I have flown. I have been extremely grateful to the advice from everyone about my damp bits. And look forward to some more from HomeSpun's hubby.

I have also applied for an OU course in digital photography. This is not like me. I swore a long time ago I would never study again. But, I have committed (at least I've paid the fees!). I can only blame my fellow fly ladies who are also studying. And I will cast blame:

Pass the parcel, musical chairs/cushions, musical statues, pin the tail on the donkey (or as well had pin the tie on Billy Bear!) Dancing competition.
