  • Helloooo!!

Don't suppose anyone is awake at this early hour....

I didn't get my ironing done nor the washing up as guess what .....fell asleep on the sofa - missed all but the first 10 minutes of Most Haunted ( not a lot normally happens so propably didn;t miss much). Woke up at 1 and feel wide awake - doesnt bode well for tomorrows extensive list of jobs to do!

Ho well - will try and go back to sleep now as fire has gone out and the house is cold. see you al in the morning....

    Morning All

I've got a bit of marking to do which I should have done last night so I'm going to do that in a min then I'll strip my bed.

I've got a training session after school tonight on top of the normal staff meeting tomorrow night so that'll be 2 late nights when I probably won't manage to get much done!

Hope you all have a good day

Well.. I'm REALLY proud of you.. that is a marvellous step! I hope you enjoy it! :D!!

    Awww shucks :o

Triker - good luck with the tooth today
    Froddington - thanks

Slept very well last night and don't feel too tired this morning. But, I did remember, as I was waiting for the snoozed alarm to go off again, that there is a drain that runs across the front garden - it's upstairs' soil pipe (Eughhh!). Although it goes down the outside of the right hand side of the house, it runs diagonally across the front garden and joins up with the main drain on the left hand side of the house. I really am going to have to get a man in. Is this what we pay buildings insurance for?

But, must ablute and go to work.

Will do Pigpen's list when I get home from work. I'm not aware of any extras I need to do tonight.

    Have a marvellous day everyone

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo I will ask this how on earth do I get a grime and grease soaked oven clean. I did once take the glass out and now the seal is split so can not do this again oops.

Can you really place the grimy disgusting shelves in the bath tub and what pray tell do I bath them with and how much.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help as I may tackle this job myself.

You can, but must admit to never having done it - I tend to put mine in the dishwasher - it doesn't get it all off, but it is really easy to clean once they've been in there coz all the boiling water and steam get right into the 'bad' bits, so then I just finish them off by hand, using a scourer on a couple of bits if necessary and then they are all shiny!!! :D

I didn't have to get up until 6.30am today - hubby had digs now so no early 4.30am starts - but guess who forgot to change the alarm!!!

So wide awake again, unable to sleep, so got up at 5am in the end... Have now done my bedroom, apart from vacumming floor and dusting, tidied the front room and kitchen, DW on, WM on, HHI  (needed to do some bits so we could wear them today...) and am about to go for a shower and then work... see you all tonight...

Zoey - I stick my oven shelves in the bath and soak them in bio washing powder.

    :bdaycake:Happy Birthday Miss A!

Swimming stuff is currently in the WM and as soon as that's finished I'll stick my bedding in!
