Well have actually done some cleaning today, washed pots and given work tops a good wipe over. Used vinegar water and a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil as it was recommended on how clean is your house to get rid of nasty niffs, (tobacco in particular) Well as I've been giving old moggy sardines {so that I know she'll take her medication) some of the oil has dripped on the work surface and all you can smell is fish yuk!
Well seems to have worked (and also cleared my sinuses to boot)
MAD MONKEY I'm new here as well and I just tend to say that I'm in for the week. Don't know if that's right or not but.....hey ho.The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:

Well done everyone today :T :T Lots of good work done, and even those who only did a little, did a little more than they would have done without the incentive to have something to post on the thread (Pigpen's tactic is working... she's forcing us to fly if we want to post  )
Toots - I think your idea of PMing newbies is great. It might also be useful to add instructions as to how to add the tree to their post, and how to strike things out, as lots of people seem to have problems, and the questions in themselves take up valuable posts, so you'd be helping declutter the thread :T . So are you going to tell us why you're not making much progress on your lists? Have you been overdoing things? Do you need any help ?? (virtual obviously, much as I love you, I'm not going to travel all that way to help you scrub out your oven)
Now I'm going to attempt the last part of my macaw... going to bed earlywell, it's earlier than usual ...
