I restored the kitchen to it's former shinyness this morning as I was feeling rough last night and didn't manage it. Now that I have it well organised it's soooooo much quicker to clean!

Think I will start on the list after lunch when DS2 is (hopefully) napping. Though any bits I get a chance to do now, I will.

    Monday - living room/hall/stairs
    Level One

Declutter the living room , hallway and stairs
    Clear and tidy the mantle
Unload TD, fold and put away laundry
    Level Two
Vacuum the cleared floors and up the stairs.. under furniture if you can move it safely!
Sort through coats and shoes and bag
Sort through the drawer or cupboard that you stuff junk in!
    Level Three
    Dust the flat surfaces
    Clear and wipe dining table

Make flapjacks with DS1 (IF DS2 is napping)
    Make pizza dough
Find a load of washing for WM

Kids away today on school trip so won't be back until 5 so plenty of time to get everything done.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I am taking laundry up to sort through after shower, anyone up for a HHI (or HHC) at 11 am ?
    Thanks,
Oops ended up hanging up sheets, then showering, so the HHI (sorting and possible ironing depending on how long sorting takes!) is now starting for me, apologies anyone who was expecting a 1, 2, 3, go!
    So, its a bit late, but 1, 2, 3, go !!!!!

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooo :grouphug:

Anyway is it me or has it got very quiet here now? Personally the chat doesn't bother me as if I miss it then I just ignore it most of the time.

mOZzy...that's a good idea, if we're allowed! I think the chat makes the tidying and time go by faster!

Done the dishwasher, got coal in for the fire but being harassed by a baby who wants biscuits and I refuse to give her more!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

  • Toots as Pigpen said, we are a great community, and you are a MASSIVE big part of that - we don't just want to see your meet and greets - we want to see you - so post when relevant, what you have/are going to do, and be your usual supportive self... don't go disappearing on us (I hope I speak for everyone on here when I say that...)
Thanks flower and AnW's MUm - I hear what you are saying but when I look back over my posts I see that I am really only replying to other people's chat and not really about flying! If I am honest I have done very little flying recently - I start off the week ok and then it just disappears and because the thread has been so long no-one has noticed that I havent posted a list for days.
I cant really do just 'relevant' posts - I am incapable of keeping quiet! I think I will have to train myself to just post lists for a while!
I certainly couldnt cope with a parallel chat thread - I hardly manage to keep up with other threads and emails as it is.
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

  • Morning All

My list for today as I'm sat at work again is:

    Clean kitchen surfaces
    Iron half a dozen things
    Start DW
    Declutter living room
Open windows and air bed before making
Make sandwiches to take to work
Decide what to have for dinner BEFORE I get home

Well I've managed to get all done apart from making lunch for work - wayhey an absolute miracle for me!

Going home at lunch - live 2 minutes drive away from work to make sandwich and put mince in slow cooker to have with giant Yorkshires and veg.

You all seem very organised today as well - WELL DONE all of you!
