    Morning everyone,

    Doing my own list today

    1) Clean and tidy the kitchen. (I've let it slp a bit over the weekend)

    2) Tidy the bathroom. S & S it and the downstairs loo

    3) Make that veggie soup. (This has been on my TD list for three days )

    4) Total two hours study.

    5) Do something to cheer myself up. Am feeling really down, and don't feel like doing anything. So I'll go out for a walk or put a salsa DVD on or something. I need some exercise.

 Morning all! Trying to work out what I can say and what I can't now! I suppose we can chat as long as we also put what we're doing and encouragement to other people in the same post? Anyway been clearing the bedroom yesterday and I've cleared my manky drawers, wiped the inch thick dust off the side and my ornaments and just about sorted the bit of floor by my side of the bed. When baby is napping I think we might progress to under the bed. Need it clear so that I can put the boxes of clothes for summer away under there. Also have someone visiting in the morning so need to clear the lounge.

    Dailies:

Just one each of the following is good, any more is a bonus!
    DW
    WM
    TD
    Load of washing hung

    Clear lounge floor
    Sweep kitchen floor
    Clear one bit of worktop
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible
  • Hi, well I managed to keep up with the challenge for a whole week last week (including the extras!!) I found that I am on top of it all now and my daily jobs aren't taking as long because I'm keeping up! Had plenty of time to read and enjoy spending time with the kids at the weekend because I wasn't constantly battling with the jobs - thank you!

Have done my dailies and will get started on the living room which is still looking tidy and decluttered from last week so shouldn't take long - so will give the dog and extra long walk instead.:j

My MACAW is to do 15mins of gardening a day - not much I know but needs tidying up!:o

Actually, I've just signed back on to ask this question of those who have a breadmaker...

Am I the only one daft enough, when I take the freshly baked load out, to leave the lid of the machine open so the residual heat helps warm the surroundings?

Bonkers mad I really must be!:rotfl:

I haven't got a breadmaker, but whenever I've finished using the oven and turned it off I leave the door open to warm up the kitchen a bit. Just common sense isn't it? ;)

      Morning all

Not caught up but I thought I'd post first while it's still morning.

Two loads of washing done, including the throws from the living room. All hung up indoors because it's pouring with rain. Much milder though. The load I washed last night was nearly all dry this morning, just a duvet cover still finishing off.

I've done the kitchen thoroughly (cupboard doors, appliances etc.) and damp wiped the living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.

My kettle has been playing up for a few weeks and I bought a new one just before Christmas in case it gave up the ghost. I've still been plodding on with the old one but when it went bang this morning and some smoke came out I took that as a sign and got the new one out! Luckily the little black mark on the worktop came off..

I've changed the water on my vase of flowers too, kept meaning to check that for the last few days and finally got round to it.

We had a little lull in the rain and I took the dog round the block. I was going to say quickly, but she doesn't really do quickly any more. We plod really with lots of pauses to look around and look confused (oh, it's a lamppost, oh, it's a tree).

Off to catch up with the posts.
