Hi all - can I join you please?????
I have been lurking for a while and had a go at following the lists (on the quiet) last year and was really pleased with the results.
Since then I have fallen by the wayside and need to get myself motivated to start again and keep it up this time!!!
I have been trying to keep up with the thread but have decided to just 'pop in' every day and not try and read it all or there will be no flying done at all.
Am going to go back to page 1 and start the list - wish me luck!!

I've unloaded the DW, cleaned the filters, put away last nights washing up, washed up the stuff that doesn't go in the DW and reloaded the DW. I think that after the next load it'll need a clean out with soda crystals as there have been a couple of greasy loads recently!
Also cleaned the TD filter while on a phone call.
Need to find my work notebook and work out what needs to be done today. There are notes from my Thursday meeting that I would normally have actioned by now...0 -
Morning all,
The usual hugs to those who need them (sorry I don't get time to read a lot of the posts with DS and trying to fly, bake, cook etc). DS had an incident last night so ammended list (point 6), and as its raining and windy so window washing has been ditched (part of point 8)!
Ammended list for Monday 12th January:
1. Fold and put away any dry washing.
2. WM sheets (if dry outside)
3. Hang outside (if dry)
4. Thank you cards, enlist DS to help!
5. ironing
6. wash bricks which DS peed on!
From Pigpens list:
7. Check smoke alarms.. change any batteries that need doing
8. Wipe all the stairs edges/spindles/handrails etc up the stairs.
I am taking laundry up to sort through after shower, anyone up for a HHI (or HHC) at 11 am ?
Thanks,Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

hello and Welcome to ALIBOBSY, NKJAL, twinmummy and penny2myname- its great to have you join us!
WORD OF WARNING -dont try to keep up with the thread or you will get nothing done!!!! And pigpen our illustrious leader has a very good aim with her new pink fluffy mules if she catches you slacking!!!:rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl:
WELCOME TO THE WEEKLY FLYLADY(AND GENTS) THREAD
A new thread is starts on a Sunday evening via a link from the current thread so keep a watch out and dive in!
Make sure you read the first post carefully as it contains all the info and abbreviations that we use!
A new list is added to the 1st post every evening by pigpen our illustrious leader and by the weekend you will have been round the whole house.
Dont get stressed with the mess just try to do the list to whatever level you can manage depending on your home circumstances - work, children OH's!!!!
Even if you only manage level 1 everyday when you come back to that room next week you will find it is easier and as time goes on it becomes more manageable and you will see huge differences - I know it sounds impossible but I can vouch for the fact it works!!!
Remember your home didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!! Dont try to do the whole house at once - you will tire yourself out and sicken yourself - we have all tried it!! BABYSTEPS - little and often and you will be amazed at the improvement.
Post what you have done and forget about what you missed - there is no such thing as failure on here!!!
Dont worry if you cant keep up with the thread it moves very fast just now - just pop in and post and let everybody know how you are doing!
The support, encouragement and friendship on here is simply THE BEST! ask any questions and we will give you our tuppence worth - sometimes sensible sometimes totally insane!
We dont bite - well most of us dont -have fun!!
WELCOME to the totally bonkers mad house!!!!
toots xx:DPeace will be mine

Right I am back from card shopping and must admit I excelled myself! Decided to get all the cards I will need between now and April. So got cards for A, W, Nan (adopted one
) DS, SIL, DN and Dad. Doh just realised didn't get nephew any, sure I have some general boy ones which will be ok. Now to put them so I don't forget where they are when I need them!!!
Also picked up a cub fleece for lil_me's DS, jeans for me, Bday cake for Miss A and stuff for dinner tonight
Have also unloaded DW and had a :coffee:Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
