C'mon folks you can't all have gone to bed.

Putting another load in WM and then re-arranging the suitcases that I still haven't managed to get in the loft.

Oh gosh and I had a stack of replies too - but yes t'is true that folk are being 'put off'

I am pleased to report that my ironing is up to date - this morning it looked somewhat daunting and I have had to HHi x 3 to clear it...

    Liberty re the kitchen
very sensible to leave it overnight as this will allow the dust to properly settle. If I were you I would damp wipe all surfaces (external and on top of the cupboards) - leave it to dry then do it again.
If your cupboards aren't at ceiling height you could do this - using either newspaper or similar fold and lay over cupboards, particularly where the cooker is (ie at that end of the kitchen) This will absorb 'floating' grease from cooking and when you come to clean them (and I only do mine annually but it's out of sight - don't tell Pigpen) it is lots easier. When I haven't done this I have had to use cif type cream and green scrubbers to clean the cupboard tops - with paper a quick wipe - allow to dry - relay new paper and you are good to go. HTH
I don't think she's been trying to give the impression that she's any of those things, or even thinking about that! She's just my mum! She's kind and funny, very messy, a great cook, and cuddly.
    I didn't know I had 2 sons! :rotfl: Lovely comment! X

Right, I'm off to bed, but in the last (quiet :p) half hour, I have:

    - Cleaned cat litter tray
    - Taken dogs bedding out of WD and made her a lovely soft cosy bed
    - Loaded WD [STRIKE]to make kitchen toasty in the morning[/STRIKE] so that I'm on top of the washing
    - Shaken head disapprovingly at oven door
    - Mentally chastised self for not going to bed early :rotfl:
