  • Hello,
I'm here for a second week, I got to Wednesday of last week then it all went a bit mad, but I did manage to keep up with my MACAW all week, of putting the washing up away every night so the sink is clear. I'm going to continue with this again this week as I don't want to change until its really part of my routine.
I'm off to bed now, hope every one has a good week.

  • Stupid question #2... I love all this thanking people business (how much nicer the real world would be if it was like this!)... but whats it all about? Are the thanks buttons like votes or rarings or something?
It's mainly a way of keeping track where you've got to, other people can see if you read their post, or are around. it also saves lots of posts that are just a quick thanks(otherwise we'd never ever ever keep up!), and it's just nice!:D

Stupid question #2... I love all this thanking people business (how much nicer the real world would be if it was like this!)... but whats it all about? Are the thanks buttons like votes or rarings or something?

I thank people to the following criteria:
    1. They've been helpful and/or
    2. They've been nice and/or
    3. I wholeheartedly agree with what they're saying and/or
    4. It's a bl00dy long thread and then I know where I got to :o and/or
    5. I'm in a good mood and/or
    6. The sun is out and/or
    7. The dog managed to cross her legs all night and I didn't stand in a puddle in my bare feet that morning, thus making HS a happy girl for the day no matter what and/or
    8. I meant to click quote but the poxy mouse got it wrong and/or
    9. I want someone to know I read their post even if I didn't respond to it and/or
    10. I felt like it :D
So no, no ratings/votes, just niceness and passing the good feeling (as opposed to the wet soggy feet feeling) along :rotfl:

Erm.............I've hung up the washing on the radiators

    Put some tea towels away

Set out a nice picky supper on table.

Looked and couldn't find either of DD 2's gym shirts.

    Changed 2 pillowcases

Folded some towels and put them away :D:D
