(((hugs))) for anyone having bad weather tonight. Thinking keep safe thoughts.
I eventually renovated the kitchen, cleaned the cooker hood, S&S'd the rest. I also took the doggy duvets out of the car and put the heater in the car to dry it out. It was damp because of wet dogs being transported after walkies:rolleyes: Doggy Duvets currently in the WM and I am decluttering cheese and crackers and a bottle of redLBM 26/12/08

In the absense of anything decent (for me anyway) on the television, I'm getting into the Miss Marple book.
I'm now going to put this marinated chicken in the oven. I'll bake the pieces and then use the marinade to stiry fry some veg in.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Definitely strong here and I'm on the east coast!0 -
Hoping everyone is safe in the bad weather. I think its one of those times when you really shouldn't go out unless absolutely necessary (and I mean outside the house, not just out on the roads), so keep safe, stay inside and keep warm and dry.
Having said that, apparently it's going to be great windsurfing weather down here tomorrow, and my brother is off to make the most of it straight after church tomorrow
MoF77 - have heard about the accidents near you on the news. Please stay indoors, no matter how much you might want to see your sister. There's always the phone, and it's not worth the risk.
I have made some goose stew with a couple of wild goose breasts that have been in the fridge for a while (well, they weren't hung for long, so I'm sure they'll be fine!), and have put some beef with lots of veggies in the sc, so will see how it turns out. I'm about to have something to eat and maybe watch a DVD if I can find one I like the look of.
Might do a bit more flying later... or maybe I'll try an early night again :rotfl:0 -

Quick post, as I'm planning on watching CSI in a minute.
Flying bit
The livingroom is almost all cleared - the bookshelves took ages, and I'm feeling quite down that the main bedroom now looks like a junk shop again. I know it's only for a week or two while OH gets the new shelves fitted, but it took me a whole year to clear the bedroom, and I can't stand the way it looks all full up again!
Very busy evening - originally all the teens said they'd be out - then they changed their minds. So, I've ended up cooking four different meals at different times. If they'd let me know before today, then I'd have planned something more like a help yourself buffet... I've stamped my feet and stropped, so doubt they'll be doing it again any time soon.:D
Take care everyone, hope the wind drops soon - I really hate this sort of weather. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
