OH is now claiming a good deed for the day, just been to mrt's and another old short lady couldn't reach some thing on the top shelf and asked him at 6' if he could reach!

Rach - you have a PM
Greenbee - there's provision for 158 cycle spaces
Fly-Flo - no. The previous application (which was refused in the summer) did have an underground car park and provision then was for about 80 cars. It's quite clear in the documentation that there's only 10.They cite that no parking is required for the students because it'll be part of their tenancy agreement that they're not allowed to bring a car into the town. But, the auditorium aspect will have no such rules so people attending that will just park up on the already severely choked side streets. The area it's in is full of terraced houses with little off road parking
I'm currently getting myself on the outside of a Gordons to celebrate the achievement of my list.
All I need to do now tonight is cook dinner and clear up afterwards. I might even be able to have a complete day off tomorrow!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

greenbee hampshire is not THAT far from me0 -
Rach - could a veg box be delivered to your work or to a neighbour/friend rather than to home address?
Kazwookie - I love people like your husband - I can never reach the back of top shelf at Mr T's either being on the slightly short side...... Why do I always need catlitter that is the last bag on the shelf??? Or it could be soya milk - Have tried standing on the silver bumper bar by the bottom shelf but then get dirty looks from the staff.
I have done ages on the competitions so should really do another pile of washing up and see what we can have for dinner - would love fish and chips but trying to be soooo good and not spend.
back later

Kaz - well done on your good samaritan bit.
Rach, shopping will be a mare for you I know!
Its bad over here:(
My electricity has just come back on its been off since 3, so not much flying done, i am lucky in one sense as I has soup cooking in the SC, I was able to transfer it to the gas hob (in a pot), there are 4 trees down on the main road that I use and the other road that i can use is flooded so i am stuck in the village:( I live right on the coast so the wind apparently is 10 times worse here:eek: ...The hospital rang to see if I was okay as there have been a few accidents Im fine but my sister was involved in one of them:( She is okay just badly shaken....and i cant get to see her!!!!!!!!!
Greenbee I have pmd you xx:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -
Mof I'm so glad you are safe and hope your sister gets over the shock soon
Soappie - congrats on finishing you list
Kaz I'm sure you will have made a family you have never met very grateful
Was feeling very gloom mid afternoon but much better now. Three guesses at what I did to cheer myself up. Clue I usually do it on Sundays (Soappie you are only allowed one guess!)
Been on the cricket run and popped to asda whilst there as it is close by. Still no luck with the school pumps - they had just the ones DS3 wants at £1.50 just the size above and below him. Did get some needed new loo brushes for 49p though and white vinegar for 50p a bottle. I'm going to tip a whole bottle in the dishwasher and see if it makes it work any better.
Going to try to get the kids to bed soon. I had hoped to do more flying this evening but not sure I can be bothered now.
Wishing you all a safe night. The wind is picking up here but nothing like some of you have. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Enjoying my HHI so much I did 45 mins. Had to stop now as my iron seems to be poorly and will not heat up. Was planning on a new iron next month - now it looks like tomorrow
Oh well - best look at prices etc..
