I need nagging about my sleeping - trouble is I'm not tired because I've laid in - once I start getting up early and staying up I think it will fall back into place (she says crossing her fingers) but please keep nagging me, I need it...
And I think your last statement should be our motto on here - I could certainly do better today - loads to do and a CBA attitude - not really going to work is it...
Well, I am up, showered and have just done my bedroom - hubby on the way home so I will get dinner ready early today I think - Spag Bol - DS is STILL in the shower - what does he do in there? second thoughts..... So will nag him to do his room and at least get the washing out of there... He also has 2 essays to write for school - 1900's love poetry and Macbeth - ooooh, he's going to be all excited writing those!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

Greenbee ta hun. Looks like you're on a roll. I'm ok re not having a drink, after last years red wine incident (blame Pigpen for that one) I've cut right down on my tipples. Found it got to be too much of a habit. Hardly drank on holiday and obviously hardly since we've been back. Been awaiting some dramatic weight loss.........still waiting:rotfl:
Toots :T You go girl, put me to shame, I've taken some cases upstairs that's it. Bit weak and pathetic today. Last night was a nightmare painwise but managed to survive.
To the people who invented antibiotics and painkillers, I thank you with all my heart.;)
My lovely OH has cleared the kitchen. DD2 has done the dishwasher. DD1 has finally emptied her suitcase.

It's very quiet here
I'm now off shopping... feeling guilty that I can't be bothered to go into town, and will probably regret it  I have been to the farm shop this morning though.
Anyway, I need some help from you all... my brother has asked me to make his wedding cake for him, but its not simple - they want three tiers of chocolate tiffin cake, ideally in dark/milk/white! I've told them we'll have to test recipes (starting next week), and I'm reasonably confident that I can get the cakes themselves to work, but I'm not so sure on how to do the tiers, so any ideas would be appreciated. And if anyone knows how I work out how big each tier should be so that there is enough for 80 people for pudding, plus some to take home afterwards, that would be great!
Think I might have to buy some more cake tins
I'm assuming you think the tiers won't hold as in a traditional cake? Why not try an american stand ...like these acrylic ones...
how big portions do they want? I told DS that if I get married again (fat chance) I am having a cake done as a '3' because I am beginning to lose track:rotfl:toottifrootti wrote: »Havent done a huge amount of flying but a little

Done one lot of ironing
and done some school stuff
Juliejim - I am casting bread for you (asking around) - so a reply will be a while. I'm stumped...sorry.
oh - and I have sprayed my 'shoots' with protector stuff...I love buying new shoes...especially when they are bargainous.
My washing has dried beautifully outside.
Gryfon - I just have an ordinary iron but DS's GF's mum has one of those and really likes it...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

my good deed for the day are you all sitting comfortably?
8.50am my phone rings, no one there
9.03am as above
9.10am ring again this time there is a woman there, she thinks I am her son and in the flat below her, (I live in a house, and am not her son)
I was just about to tell her wrong number, but talked to her as she sounded so confused
Got her name, part of her address, and 85 years old, she said she hadn't fallen over but couldn't remember, I asked was she cut or bleeding, again she didn't know. told her to sit by the phone and stay there.
Hung up on her, did 1471
Rang 999.............. and reported it she sounds so upset and confused, I just didn't know what else to do and she lives about 40 miles away, so how she dialed my number good ness only knows.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi All
toots - I have had a a could do better afternoon - managed HHI but then sat down to watch end of the film (about 1.5 hours of it) - very sad - cried then had to put up with DS asking why!
DS has at last wiped up and taken out the recycling - had to get really ratty to get him moving!
Have also put wet washing on airer and cleaned out the grate and lit the fire - filled in the imeasure readings and found we have used a huge amount of electricity - may have to turn off the storage heaters soon - brr
So I am going to try 30 minutes of competitions and then wash up again.
Ohhhh - I already have a watcher on one of items listed on ebay - that never happens to me - usually takes ages!
Back in a bit
