Dairy promotion change today, opportunity over I think
Its ok, I'm sure there will be another one along shortly
The other Tesco staff on here could learn a lot from you Constantine, you ever thought of going into staff training?Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

How to conduct ones self on a public forum is unfortunately training that more than just Tesco staff would benefit from :rolleyes:Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -

Yep, because Tesco finally decided it couldn't (or didn't want to) get to grips with the challenge of charging people the correct prices at the till.0 -

What right do they have to shout verbal abuse at someone like they were a target of this member of staff? None at all in my eyes! Maybe we just think your a liar, well I certainly do at least, you are modifying your story with each post to justify your animosity towards your customers, what reason would a customer have to be abusive before being declined dtd? Fabrication the lot of it.
The colour stripping goes along the shelf edge, and they are different colours each reading different words...As for whoever it was that mentioned people being colour blind, I understand that that was sarcasm but come on! The colour stripping is of no consequence whatsover
I actually think that Jane had a relevant point and you shot her down because it wasn't the concensus view, so she used the DTD policy, she mentioned that she bought two gifts and was overcharged and received £12 back from Tesco, how is this greed, the SEL said £2 and she was overcharged, it was an error of the till system, if she had of gone back round and cleared the shelves of these gift sets and claimed the DTD again then yes this is greed. She criticised others as being greedy because they merely had a higher level of greed than her, her posts are in their entirety hostile and provocative to other users it is likely the id is an A/E created to cause disruption without any negative effect on the true id
I understand that a lot of people do rely on Tesco bargains to get by and that is fair enough, but as with everyone nobody has the right to be rude to people without being provoked which is why I orginally posted due to the quite frankly disgusting abuse people were giving to GC19a because he didn't join in with the consensus view of grab your coats and go hurl abuse these words are yours to justify your witterings at CSD staff over a bottle of wine and a misprint! In my opinion there always seems to be bargains and glitches going on and there are always the greedy people that take it too far and end up getting these things stopped, after all Tesco stopped R&R for a reason!
As said before it is extremely unlikely that any member of staff that follows company policy and their employers contractual obligation and fulfills dtd is going to be abused, if a customer becomes irate it will most likely be because having first had money stolen from them by your employer you now want to add insult to injury by denying them their legal rights and delaying their progress about their daily busines, your job is to handle and resolve customer issues not create them, stop baiting your customers and spend the free time checking shelf edges and pos for a less stressful life.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

Not really, they have been aware of that problem for many years, more likely that because of our ability to organise and co-operate with and exchange information they were hemorrhaging stock through all of their stores rather than just a select one or two, ladies and gentlemen I present you with xbox360 and the class of 2006/2007 the ants attacked the elephant and brought it to the ground.
The fact of the matter is that if r&r had functioned as intended then there would only have been one possibly two stock items lost per store as the offending pos would have been removed and the situation resolved, this rarely happened and presented with the opportunity the diligent amongst us made hay whilst the sun was shining.

yeah, some of you disgusting money savers trying to get what they can out of a caring philanthropical organisation such as Tescos! How could you?! Have you no soul?
What is disgusting about moneysaving?? Some of us like to live and survive a bit easier and provide for our families.
Also I would (and most others) dispute that Tesco is a philanthropic organisation. Sure they try to give that impression with their causes and charity stuff but FIST THINGS FIRST they try to make a quick buck.
As a big company they stop at NOTHING to make as much profit as possible - and that often meens ripping off as many customers as possible! :mad:0 -

This may be of interest to all parties here! Personally, I think Tesco should be more careful with their signage and honour it as a gesture of goodwill, but the law says otherwise...0 -

Sorry but I suspect you are mis-interpreting your own reference matter, whilst a consumer cannot insist that a vendor honours/accepts all and every invitation to treat to offers, having done so the vendor is obliged to fulfill the invitation at the agreed terms. The vendor cannot make adjustments to the contract post sale without the express permission of the customer nor vice versa. At time of sale a contract is formed part of that contract is that in the event the consumer is charged a higher price than the agreed amount that double the difference will be refunded. Tesco nor any other body is in a position to withdraw this part of the contract without consent of all parties to the agreement.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
