Hiya
My change counter arrived and my hubby let me have it early so yesterday I sat there for about 30mins putting all my change into the new money pot. My hubby thought that I had lost the plot. I have a massive £6.02 so far. I want to fill the jar and each time it is full I'm going to annoy some bank staff by paying it off a debt.
I'm itching to put more change into it... of to raid hubby's pockets and wallet again.DFW Nerd No: 758  Proud to be dealing with my debts!:T Proud mum to Bon-Scott my amazing 10/10/10 baby

Hi I will join please. I have a piggybank that I emptied Sunday and paid in Monday, was £15 something, can't quite remember, but I made it up to £16.34 to even up the money bags. Was £1 coins, 20ps, 10ps, 5ps, 2ps and 1ps. Have started off my next one with a £2 coin as trying to save them all and 2 10ps. Can I include this one in it?0

I must get round to counting the piggybank (mantle peice - family and friend occasionally put their change in there too!:j ) and a tin effort in my bedroom. I'll do that tonight when lo in bed.

I'm always collecting change. My friends bought me a Pirates of the Carribean Skull money box lol. Last time I looked I had about !£17, but I've banked £6 of it recently and put it in 'deposit for next rented house' fund.
I'm now trying to get my graduate overdraft down to £1000 from £1500 by September as the interest free portion is being cut to that then.
So I'll save towards that.0 -
I put 5p`s in a jar then when the cc bill comes it goes as an overpayment...£5 first month, £3.95p second month. all helps.0

Nice One, good to put the little bits and bobs towards something that will make you happy.
Personally I hate change in my wallet as it makes it wider and fills my pocket!
I have my first £50 of the year to cash in, not sure the best way though, will I have to Bag it before I take it to the bank?DEBT FREE - FEB 2010  (LBM £24,000)
