haha.. you're that desperate to go back??0 -
Me first please
I had a total NY flashback while out running yesterday - gentle snow, fierce wind and Cleopatra's Needle in the background *sigh* - I want to be running in Central Park again0 -
I am also dying to go back especially when I keep looking at the cheap flights sales just now.. have been twice in the past year so really shouldn't complain but I have the bug now.. my boyfriend won't fly so that rules him out.
Maybe we should have a MSE trip to New York !! LOL0 -
HAHAHA we can block book the cosmo for a week0

lol.. I've alread y came pretty close to booking flights a few times in the past week and now I have found out I have 8 days leave I need to take before end of March.. have heard St Patricks day parade suppose to be good.. lol0

Me to - I found some for a week in April for £220, but I'm just not sure about sitting on a plane for 6 hours the day after running a marathon - cant imagine its very good for you...
Oooo St Patricks day would be great! My friends that live in NY are always going on about how much fun it is- go on book it!!

That would be very MSE of us
September would be a good time for a group visit no?? Although there seem to be a few of you going in March!0 -
Only 86 days until i head off to New York
Flights are all booked (asked on here for advise at time) and hotel is nearly all paid for (paid upfront hotels.com via quidco 10% cashback) just £155 to clear from card.
We are staying for 5 nights so just wondering how much spending money to take with us? Its for my OH's 30th (a surprise).
Neither of us are big shopping fans so thinking of taking $1500, $300 dollars per day approx.
I want to do a Broadway show although i know there is a half price ticket booth and looking to go museums etc.
Considering a helicopter trip, think this would be the biggest expense.
Any tips on how much to take? Also has anyone used New York Passes? I have seen them on Play.comNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
