I'm looking at going to New York on 19th November for 5 nights, flying with Virgin and staying at Comfort Inn. The price i have found it for is £540

Does anyone think this is a good deal? stayed at the hotel before?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

£540 for the flight? the hotel? or both?

    if both, bargain
if hotel, £108 per night, not bad, but depends WHICH comfort in in NYC, as there are quite a few
    if flight, that's kinda expensive!

Sorry, for flight and hotel. I found it through Expedia, it's Comfort Inn-Times Square
  • I'm off to NY again at the end of May. Picked up tickets during Virgin Atlantic's Easter sale for £249.

Anyway, found this link for an aerial view of the city. Very tranquil and beats splashing out on a helicopter ride...

thankfully, the comfort inn times square isn't actually in times square, so that's a plus point really.. ;)

Flights alone are - £304 direct, so if it is £540 for both the hotel and flight go for it..

i say that mainly cos i can't find it at all as a deal on expedia, and it seemed soooo cheap..

    Total: £966

Thank you for your responce as been to both. I think am going to go, mostly for the Abercrombie and the Banana republic!!
Its one of them places I think, sometimes you may get lots and sometimes not so much, worth a visit though even if just a couple of things would be saving quite a bit compared to UK prices on A&F and Banana republic.

    Hi Mark are you there?

Can I have some advice on this holiday we have found please? It is flying out on the 28th Dec 09 and returning on the 2nd Jan 2010, staying at the Waldorf Astoria. The price is £749 each. Is this a deal to grab or should we bide our time and keep searching around for a few more weeks?

    Thanks
