What pretty colours artydoll. I'm doing squares at the moment - 28 so far and I'm not at all fed up of them jj I find them utterly compulsive and theraputic, using up all my tiny scraps of wool appeals to my frugal nature. Don't know what I'll do with myself once the stash is all used up.

That's really pretty OrkneyStar, is it the same pattern as your blue one? If so, the extra colour really makes a difference. I'm sure your mum will love it. So sad about her dog, I remember the day I had to make that decision with my old lady and it's so painful.

Yeah the first one was cream (although might have looked blue with pic on here), this one is done in two tone, as per pattern instruction. The doggy was really mine to start with but when I left mum kept her for the company. Kinda don't feel like she is really gone but I know she is! My mum is in hosp for a couple of days so am gonna post this on tue with a couple of pics of dog (I have SO many and a wee letter).
