  • Gah! The horrible wool I have in the house, I am ready to do murder by crochet hook!!!

Haha, we are too alike arkonite_babe - as well as making unexpected pyramids, I hate it when yarn splits too! Grrr.

Hmm, I'm having awful trouble getting my hands on yarn in second hand shops. And by 'awful trouble' I mean not one of the 10+ I've been in has any!

If you're struggling to find cheap wool I'd recommend this place - browse the clearance pages, they have some real bargains. (I'm nothing to do with them btw, just a very happy customer!).

Eventually got around to crocheting the Valentine Hearts from this site
    http://belladia.typepad.com/bella_dia/2008/02/sweet-heart-cro.html.
Really pleased with the outcome and they were so easy to do. Here they are in all their glory over my fireplace.

I don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.

Yes. It would be much better to explain why you have a crocheted uterus in your bag than let anyone see you carrying a tampon. :rotfl:

    These are gorgeous:T:T:T

I'm still very much a novice self taught/teaching crocheter and atm am much more comfortable with knitting. :o Does anyone know of a pattern for knitted hearts and knitted bunting triangles? I have googled but to no avail. :(
Sorry to ask a knitty question on a crochet thread. :D
  • Phew, i'veread all 28 pages. i learnt to crotchet when i was a tiddler and used to earn a pound for doing edgings onthe 70s waistcoats my mum used to make and sell.

You've all inspired me again.has anyone seen a nice pattern for a hat with flaps. Next sell a lovely one withcables and twirly flaps like THE scarf . Thinking ofgetting it, working out the pattern and returning it :)
