Sorry to hear your news Kaz...whilst its a childrens hospital it is no place to be over the weekend!
Agree re the difference between abject desperation and ticking along cn be very small indeed

No 29 reporting in. A thousand apologies that I had to abandon my MFW ambitions very early on in this challenge due to a drastic cut in wages but as from today I have cleared all my CC debts and am therefore able to start chipping away at the mortgage although at a very slow rate to begin with as the budget will be incredibly tight for at least the next 6 months I did make some progress on this challenge and have reported my up to date figures to FB and my current balance is £235,480 a long way from my target of £170K but I have overpaid £25320 and it all helps. I assume that a new challenge will be starting when this one ends and I really do expect to see a big difference in another 3 years.

Thanks for the update DT, you've still made quite impressive inroads. No cc debt and a large amount of op's is good, right? Just think how much better you'll do over the coming months and years as your interest portion reduces too. Hi,
1,000 apologies for just letting this thread bump along. Had big plans for this week, but fell asleep on sofa last night. Cycling taking a toll on my energy.
Yes, there's a third challenge after this, which I'm intending to run. There was a recent poll with some information in there. I'll post some further details in there and here soon.

Skaps, well done on reaching your target. I don't know if you can alter your target as it skews figures but should see no reason why you can't add another mini target to yourself onto your signature. IIRC that's what people did last time when they exceeded their estimations.
Enjoy that feeling!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
off to portugal for 6 days---end of week---first time ive never taken out a loan-more debt to go on holiday.
june payment will be low--to pay for holiday
if i work/budget hard when i get back---i think i can just manage to hav a teen mortgage 12/12/12.
theres always small goals you can try for while reducing your over-all mortgage.
