Great to see so many MFW's publicly clarifying their gender. For the record I am a boy, but I do own a Culture Club album.

No bank robbing or crime involved! We have been fortunate to end up in a good position in the last few years, but, in all honesty have had our moments when the wages came in and three days later it was basically gone. Things have fallen into place and we have maintained a similar lifestyle, admittedly we were never less than comfortable, but neither have we opted to spend the spare money as it came back our way. Hence, now making serious progress. Just wish I had known what I know now years ago as some of the people on here in their twenties are clearly very switched on.RosieTiger - Highest £242,000 Feb 2004

Thanks for that.
Yes amazing to think what I and Mr Brizzle could have done if we had known what we came to know in late 30s! Namely living within your means is key (and isnt boring or a lack of imagination,) and don't just stick your head in the sand. But agree RT, we have always had good jobs and that makes one hell of a difference to getting out of the mire
Thanks Tattycath and all.. off to look now
