The Mortgage Free in Three - Take 2 challenge (MFiT-T2)
Comments

March overpayments of £1,950 have been made.
Mortgage has been reduced by £26K since the start of the challenge and OH is fully onboard now.
March 12th mortgage balance:- £54,966
I'm still showing as not updated because I seem to have forgotten to update via the form (I updated on this thread).
I have done so now, but with it being too late for the March deadline I guess I'll have to put a Post-It on the fridge so that I don't miss the June update deadline.0 -
Hello All!
We've just been plodding along paying normal payments on the mortgage for over a year now we stopped overpayments as we took out a £15000 loan to buy a new family car. We have been overpaying the loan and expect to have it paid off by May so will be able to concentrate again on the mortgage. We missed the last update but look forward to the next one. We hope to be able to make some chunky overpayments but amount depends on share prices as a SAYE is up and how much my savings endowment is worth. Itching to know the value of the endowment would be brill if it would cover the zopa loan.
Thanks to all who post and most of all for those working hard running this thread. It is very inspiring.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -

Hi uzubairu,
Hope you can appreciate it's much easier to look in one place for the updates instead of potentially in this thread that can span many pages over a number of weeks.
As mentioned before, as soon as you press the 'update' button on the form, it's logged, but just to a temporary holding sheet and the data needs to be manually added to the appropriate chart.
I'll check and update this evening - there's bound to be a few more too to update.
If you've not updated yet, please feel free to provide one.

Hello all. I've made a right !!!! up with my updat number that I reported to FB via google docs. I've advised him of the total o/s amount of my mortgage rather than just the IO part which is the bit I do this challenge on. This makes me look like I've borrowed an extra £75k ish lol and also thrown FB's minimum number out on our lovely spreadsheet report.
FB, I'm so sorry to cause you extra work, I'm away until Friday this week, don't have my correct total with me and can't access google docs anyway re work restrictions. Can I send you proper update on Friday night please?

Hmmm,
Just checked the updates sheet where they are logged and yes I do appear to have missed that. Will have that fixed shortly.abouttimetoo wrote: »Hello all. I've made a right !!!! up with my update number that I reported to FB via google docs.

Sure. Not a problem. I've just checked and there's 10 or 11 updates to apply, and I imagine they will continue to trickle through over the next few days.Superfast_Gran wrote: »I thought FB was a girl!
Not last time I checked
I've also had comments that people thought that "FB", which I often abbreviate myself to was Fat [censored] - well I'm sure you can guess.
