Have been awol for a bit, sorry! :o

Had some essential work done on house which made a dent in the plan, then so did life in general somehow!

Christmas and major bill season now (house, cars, mots, car tax over next few months) but always have this challenge in the back of my mind to keep me focussed and as on track as can be......generally when looking at that really nice frock/top/whatever in the shop window! lol!:rotfl:

Mortgage as at this afternoon stands at £81751!

Well done everyone for a cracking first year, to those of you who have cleared your mortgages enjoy your first MF Xmas and special thanks to Maz & FB for this thread.:T

    Happy Xmas everyone.:xmassign:

hello, just checking in to report my mortgage outstanding as £44,321.65 :) I have updated by googledocs today.

Thanks to all for this inspiring challenge!

I am a little unsure now if we will meet our original challenge as my DH is losing 20% of his salary from Jan and I am resigning in march to look after our two sons, so things will be very tight. I still hope to put everything we have into overpayments though...

You can see my sig for my latest total. I've updated via google docs. But I still feel a tad disappointed with my progress. I think I'm where I expected to be though...think I'm just expecting to much. I realise that didn't make much sense. Ha ha

Well it’s the 12th December (just), so we are due another chart... :D

Would have been posted just around midnight, except I:

    a) Didn’t allow enough time to get the updated added to the spreadsheet
    b) Found an issue with Aless (160) – it was mis-representing the percentages.

Having addressed both, I can now publish Chart 04:
    https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=0AnhcWfGMRVgddGtzMTdvS1VnNXUwakpPc3NjZzRHMVE&hl=en_GB&single=true&gid=27&output=html

Give yourselves a big pat on the back – so many of you are doing so well. The usual comment - please check your own entry to make sure it's been updated correctly.

    A special mention for:
    • JonnyBravo (21) – clears mortgage during this chart
    • Egon (63) – exceeds goal during this chart
    • Wynnvegas (85) - clears mortgage during this chart
    • The end of the rainbow (189) - exceeds goal during this chart
Currently, we’ve paid £420,558 during this chart. This is the lowest to date, but I’m expecting more updates to trickle through.

Note: If you can provide an accurate update for any of the previous 3 charts and you missed out on an update, please pass one on and I’ll get the appropriate chart updated. If you’re doing that – please add a comment that it’s for an older chart so I don’t update Chart 04.

Please keep the updates coming in – usual limit date for Chart 04 of the end of this month, ie 31st December, after which we can draw a line under year one. :T

A huge thanks to everyone who’s put the effort into the challenge over the last 12 months and kept this thread ticking over when I’ve not been around.

Finally, hope you don't mind me publishing Chart 05 (so you can see where you need to be for the next update) sometime later today due to it being so late...

    Thanks again,
    Financial Bliss / Maz123.

    Number 102

Just updated on Google doc. Current balance is sitting at £84,500. Looks like it may be a struggle to reach my initial target (£60,000).

May to have to revise target in 2011!!!!!!!
