thankyou FB and Maz for all your hard work....
I'm really pleased as I'm in the green this time...well done everyone0 -
Fab work everyone.
I am a lurker and avid reader of posts, rarely having time or energy to add comments, but I do find it all inspirational.
Just updated, a day late, sorry!
Our balance is now £37996.82, so back in the green! Results of normal OP and a savings policy that wasn't giving us much of a return. Cleared the repayment part of the mortgage now, just on endowment, which si all backed by policies anyway, so if we keep oOPing then that cash will be ours at the end, yay!!! (will replace the savings!);)MFiT-T2 no 66. Hi FB,
Many thanks from my end as well. I'm always pleased to get round to the quarterly updates - if only to satisfy myself that someone in the world has a less healthy excel addiction than I do! Looking forward to whatever the analyses hold...
Fully expecting to be joining freedomgirl and a couple of others in the next chart with a £0 balance but I'll be cheering everyone else on to the end!!
Cheers,

I cant seem to open the chart though .....is it just me?
Thanks guys can see it now
Got some catching up to do , mainly due to restrictions by halifax we have shortened term twice and used up the 10% no fee , we have 2K to pay off but waiting until we can pin them down about penalties for overpaying
Fixed term on one part end in Jan so more lump sums will get paid after then too
Pleased overall though gifts from elerly relatives have helped*****

Just posted a day late too! I have kept up my normal overpayments, and only had a few extra coins etc this quarter that I added to the pot. So far I am in the green, but I will gradually creep back towards yellow and that is where FB's charts will really help. If it wasn't for this challenge we wouldn't be making such conscious efforts to overpay. We'd talked for years about how much mortgage debt we were comfortable with, so this challenge means we're heading in the right direction.
Keep it up everyone and hopefully some more updates will roll in. If anyone keeps a very keen eye on the first page of this challenge, you may have noticed me sneak a Chart 04 into the mix.
Linked in post #5, but here's a link here too:

Hoobydoobydoo (49) is in the enviable position of just needing £42 to drop back into the green zone for Chart 04.
See the 'Shortfall' column to see what you need to pay / overpay in order to get into the green zone (ie on track). Well done if you're already in the green zone for Chart 04.
I've also linked into Chart 04 in the chart summary sheet.
I'm still updating Chart 03, so keep the updates coming in - I've done another small batch this evening.
Was going to attempt to start an 'analysis' chart to hopefully come up with some sort of semi-automatic analysis for each chart instead of number crunching manually each time, but may leave this for another evening...
Thanks for the support!

WOW £42 - thanks for that. It has spurred me on to try and get a whole chart ahead by next time (IYSWIM).
Well done everyone - it really helps having such excellent support on here.
