I was only kidding thriftygirl, I am hoping the low rates continue till 2015 :rotfl:
OK folks - Andrew Sentance lives in Essex. Methinks the Lewis Lane residents need to pop round to see him and either bribe him with home made strawberry wine or threaten to sing outside his window continuously till he sees the light
If not we will tie him up and keep him in the basement until the last Lewis Lane resident is mortgage free

Hi all
I've just been catching up on all your progress :j
I normally would make my OP to-morrow but I had enough money in my account to do it today so every little helps. So, I've made an OP of £500 and I'm hoping to make an extra £48 later this month as this will make my overall o/d balance drop below £165k, it will make it (LOOK AWAY NOW WYNNVEGAS
) £164,999.47. Actually, joking apart I wouldn't really like that so will send the extra 47p unless.... Billy, do you want to sent me £999.47 instead????????????
I'm still behind where I should be on our MFiT T2 challenge but plenty of time for that to change.
Looking forward to seeing our next update :TMFW Start Date 1.4.08. Updated 23.1.18. MFW date 1.8.18

Oh no!
That's no good at all. I've written a cheque for 47p! let me know where to send it and it's yours....

I'm with you completely thrifty girl. The collapse in mortgage rates has saved me somewhere in the region of £3,000 already in interest. However, watch me turncoat into a rate hike advocate in around 75 days!
Cheers,

Well Done. I bet your interest rates are far higher on your cards than your mortgage. You must be feeling great

We always say to pay off the highest interest debts first, so well done on clearing the credit cards

I've made a start on Christmas presents today. Just bottled up 3.5L of raspberry vodka. Once it's ready, the left over berries will be covered with melted chocolate as little liquer chocs. I have shamelessly stolen this idea from somebody on the old style board. I think it was on the preservers year thread. I can't wait for just before Christmas now when I get to make all of my yummies!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
