I was delighted when I managed to pay off £2500 a week ago but today I received a letter telling me I have been charged a £10 administration fee
My monthly payment has also bee reduced, which I didn't want, I wanted the term of the mortgage reduced. I will phone them on monday and see if I can get it sorted out.
Will I be able to do this easily or is it likely to lead to more charges?
I should know what I'm doing as I have paid off a mortgage before, but I paid that off in far larger lump sums and can't remember all the ins and outs.Mortgage Free in 3-T2 : Started at £151,000 Nov. 2009 Mortgage Free Oct 1st 2015

Handed in a cheque for £114 yesterday, Council tax amount.
I worked out, that last month, we paid £700 towards the mortgage (mortgage and op). £500 are towards the mortgage and £ 200 are interest! grrrrrrrrrrI wish Germany had a website like moneysavingexpert!0
