  • Kellystockdale,

well if its any consolation i've been suckered too! Times are very hard at the mo - i've been refused loans elsewhere so i guess i played right into their hands!

    To those in the know,

i paid the fee using a visa credit card - does that mean that i can get my credit card company to claw the cash back?

I would be inclined to write and be prepared to issue a claim in the SmallClaims court for repayment. Give them 7 days and then issue a summons through MoneyClaim online and let them have costs etc. If once judgement is secured and payment is still not made within 5 working days send in the Court Bailiffs to remove goods to the value, which with Court and Bailiff costs will be in the hundreds approaching a thousand so it is in there interests to repay you.
  • i have just gone with these before i read this and could honestly cry with what i am reading. my and my partner applied and has a letter through that we had to sign anyone else had that? oh and also if i ever try to ring them off my mobile its always busy or waiting for ages but ring off a differrent number they answer...but if it all goes wrong and we get nothing but paid that silly fee can we get that back somehow?

YES LOANS receive finance from WELCOME FINANCE, and since GOODBYE are themselves short of dosh, i doubt NO will be giving anyone loans........
  • quite an old forum, but if you are lucky enough to have paid them with a credit card, use the chargebacks route through your credit card, i know for alot of people in financial difficulty dont have access to a credit card, but if it helps 1 person it will be worth it, my girlfriend used this company when she was searching for a loan, i had already told her never to pay anyone to find you a loan, loans incur interest and alot of it, if this companies could really find you a loan they would get there commision from a kick back from the company that were giving you your money, THEY ARE ALL CONS , STAY AWAY
  • I can't believe I fell for this one - I paid £44.00 to them with a guarentee of money in my account by "Friday" - only to find out that nothing happened. Difficult to get hold of afterwards too. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
  • Boy do i wish i had read these first i too have been conned by the Credit People I have loans which i am paying no defaults but due to my past i have a bad credit rating. Now i am working etc i have been looking for a loan of a lower rate to clear these debts quicker.
The credit people took 44.50 out of my bank and promised by letter that i had successfully been accepted for a loan of £7,000 at 17% over 10yrs and the company would ring me soon. A company did and offered me £6000 at 75% over 3 years!!!!!! Nothing like the initial offer! All i wanted to do was sort my finances out quicker now im in a position to do so. This company is a complete crook and should be shut down. As a previous person said the letters are very unprofessional and to be honest being fairly intelligent i should have noticed.
I am so surprised after reading all the previous comments that this company is still able to do this they are preying on the people most vunerable surely the government or someone can do something!!!! I will certainly be following this up.
SO ALL BE WARNED DO NOT USE CREDIT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i to have been a fool and paid the 49.50 fee and was told i was guaranteed payment of a loan. they are a shambles and just steal your money without even providing any service. i rang several times after been promised the funds would be put into my account this never happenened each time i rang to enquire a was told something different "its with the legal department. " " its being processed" how can the credit people continue to get away with this ? after ringing oft i was told i would be entitled to 44.50 of my money back. please do no FALL FOR THE CREDIT PEOPLES LIES
  • So if they basically send your details around the companies, who then in turn contact you claiming they infact will give you a loan, then what next? One of the letters from Anderson Young is VERY appealing and stands out from the rest which were obvious scams.
I am wondering if anyone has actually had experience with this company and their opinion?? thanks
