• Found I'd requested a ticket for "Bride Wars" on an evening when I already had a theatre ticket, so I e-mailed them at "Ican'tgo", but I still received two e-mails reminding me to attend. So why do they bother asking you to cancel and warn you against posting codes? Probably explains why, when you double-check to see if tickets have become available for screenings previously full, there are none!

Hi guys I've just had to delete three posts again offering free tickets even after posting yesterday about it. It's not allowed I'm afraid,

Please note that swapping of tickets should not be posted as it is against the site rules to exchange personal details. See here.

If you obtained your tickets via seefilmfirst, you should email them so they can re-allocate your tickets.

If by change you cannot make it to a screening, we can give your ticket to someone else. Please let us know by e-mail on icantgo@seefilmfirst.com
Other than doing that, you can use sites like freecycle to give your tickets to someone

Excellent film, deserves all the awards it's already received and all those it's expected to get. 9/10

BRIDE WARS

Rather lacking typical American romcom. Sadly far too few funny moments.
I'm sure most teenage to thirty-something females will like it more than the rest of the population. 5/10

hey quoia- just to let you know I am a 30 something female accompanied by 2 teenage girlies & as you can see by my score we hated it!!!! probably good for anyone who loved sex in the city drivel!!!!

Hi hm71,

I did say "most" and not "all", with "your" likeability scale referenced to the "rest of the population" which was my observation of the reaction by the rest of the audience at the screening I went to.

As they were leaving some girls were discussing actually paying to come to see it again

I agree it was rather poor hence my score of 5/10, but I've seen far far worse and if I scored this as only a 2/10 I'd have to be handing out negative values to some others (total trash) that I gave 0/10 .

Is there any site that lists what films are going to be released at the cinema and the dates?

I have 2 free tickets for the Odeon that run out on 28 Feb 2009 and would like to see what films are due out that I fancy to use these to my best advantage, ie films not likely to be freebies.

Thanks

• I see your point, but I have the opposite problem. I have real trouble navigating the whole site, but when I try to find this thread, I keep getting the old one. It's only because I found it by accident that I know it's there. If you use the "discussion thread" link on the "cinema codes only" thread, it takes you to the old one. Searching site/forums produces the same result. Is there an easy method for non-IT-literate users, please?

Certainly looks that way - I think a new one is set up at the start of each year. A link back to previous threads would be handy as I wanted to read some recent comments.
• Yes, it is quite difficult to find this thread sometimes, with several pages of freebie offers to look through before you come to it.

This probably leads to some people putting things on the "codes only" that
should be on this one.

Why can't this thread be made a sticky ? I'm sure this wouldn't happen quite so often if it were made easier to find this thread.
