I am still able to request an email by logging onto Screenbookings, it says 'email successful' and yet nothing appears in my inbox. I'm a bit annoyed since I have a Sunday Times subscription but they failed to send me my copy yesterday (they've refunded me but no paper!). Beginning to think I'm fated to miss this one

Fingers crossed that the system's caught the 'flu and will send us all the usual emails (possibly ten each by now!) soon...
Hi, I just went on retrieve and received an email almost instantly to my junk folder. This did not work yesterday, so the problem may have been fixed.

    Hi,
I've seen a few people with signatures about the 2008 film club. Is there one for 2009?

    Thanks

I think people need to lighten up. Anyone would think this place was some folks life

Not at all, just dont think there is any need for rudeness to other members and especially board guides just giving information. Its certainly not about not having a life, its about being polite.

Does this mean you can get in without the paper? Have any of you tried this before?

hi there the answer is yes. i agree it was unclear whether you actually needed the token from times (saturday culture section) or not. i went to see benjamin button and didn't have the paper, just a printout of the email confirmation, and that was fine. looked to me like most people in the queue just had the email too, not the paper.

I wasn't referring to you when I said not having a life, I mean the people getting all upset about chat in the codes thread!

I hope this is useful for some one. If anyone has the london metro there is an advert for free screening for faintheart for tomorrow at 6.30pm. All you have to do is take the advert to the cinema on the list and 2 people can get in for free. On a first come first basis though.

Nicely spotted. I didn't read yesterday's metro, but if I had I would've just skipped it. Can't go though...
