  • I am still able to request an email by logging onto Screenbookings, it says 'email successful' and yet nothing appears in my inbox. I'm a bit annoyed since I have a Sunday Times subscription but they failed to send me my copy yesterday (they've refunded me but no paper!). Beginning to think I'm fated to miss this one

Fingers crossed that the system's caught the 'flu and will send us all the usual emails (possibly ten each by now!) soon...

Don't bother with the "sorry" blueeyez

yeslek is an "expert" in doing this and probably holds the record for the number of inappropriate posts on the codes only thread over the years, usually criticising another member's post.

I've even been PMed a few times, the last time was because I re-quoted a code by another member, adding significant new information and making a rather important correction.

However this is probably "the best yet", criticising a Board Guide. :rotfl:

Has anyone got tickets for Faintheart? Do you think it's worth seeing - I need to decide whether I should try and convince my boyfriend that he would rather come and see this than watch the footy tomorrow night!

Kuromi, I got tickets to this too but couldn't remember what it was (I've had a long day!), I found this review helpful:

    http://www.viewlondon.co.uk/films/faintheart-film-review-24375.html

It sounds like a good, fun comedy and I'd rather watch that and have a few laughs than watch footie (which let's face it, he can watch ANYTIME?:p) Good luck!
    I hope I didn't brain my damage...

Someone that really doesn't understand the ins and outs of watching football, or any sport for that matter!

You can watch the film at the cinema or on DVD anytime you want and it will always be the same. This is the only time of his entire life he can watch that particular footy match live, without knowing what's going to happen next because it hasn't happened yet! Even taping the footy and watching it when you get home just isn't the same!

On a different note re faintheart tomorrow. I duly turned up with my Congratualtions e-mail to ask for tickets and the manager told me he didn't have any and to go to My Space to get them ; I tried this to no avail; I have e-mailed Vertigo films and have no reply. So do we just turn up tomorrow with the Congrats e-mail? Has anyone got their paws on a physical ticket for this?
I called at my local cinema today to see if I could pick these up but was told they aren't giving out tickets, just 'get here early' tomorrow.

Also, I called at the library and while there I managed to pick up a coupon from the Culture mag for 'Doubt'. All in all a good day.

Thanks everyone for codes and help. It's much appreciated.

I saw a particulary rude post today, made to another member on the codes thread. It was quite rude and really wasn't necessary!

It has been deleted now, there is no need for it!

Ps I am glad you find it amusing, I find the whole thing pretty tiresome.
