Thanks but I'm looking for £2 - £3 for the additional parcels0 -
:jDocuments arrived yesterday from Aberdeen, sent by Interparcel on the 29th April. I am happy with Interparcel however I won't ask for a pick up on a Wednesday as DHL in Canada (my bit anyway) don't deliver at weekends. GOOD SERVICE INTERPARCELCurrently 4 me its Rogers Contract cell phone, REBTEL.COM is the best mobile making and receiving calls to/from UK and Canada:beer:0

I need some help and advice please. Rather than hire a van and travel to London from Norwich to collect my daughter and her stuff from University, I wondered if I could use these one of these parcel companies to bring back a large part of her stuff.
Obviously, it would be one off collection and delivery and most of the stuff is worthless (not to my daughter) and anything of any value I could bring back in my car.
Are these services suitable for this kind of thing?0 -

Could you be a bit more expansive, stuff to bring back would include kitchen stuff, books dvds, general day to day stuff0

It would all need to be packed - well - and presumably books etc are quite heavy? You'd also need insurance which would add to the (considerable) cost. Better to hire a "man and van" to pick up stuff like this I think, or as you were considering, to hire a van yourself which I'd imagine wouldn't be that expensive for a couple of days and mileage Norwich-London return. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

do you have to have insurance?0

Only if you want to replace stuff that goes missingCourier companies can and do loose stuff. Personally, I wouldn't want to risk my study texts etc with them! And the insurance almost certainly wouldn't cover "new for old" anyway. As I said, man and van or van hire yourself would be preferable.
