    Hi Olive,

Are you off to see the Odd Couple by any chance? If so, I-T went to see it the other night and said it was hilarious! One good line after another had him laughing so much, he almost didn't want to laugh in case he missed the next one :rotfl::rotfl:.

Sorry - the Odd Couple sounds like a good un, but I'm off to see All My Sons tonight; a heavyweight Arthur Miller drama. I've seen it loads of times and always cry :rotfl::rotfl:
Strange (to me) venue so I'm driving to a friends for a lift :D

How are you MoT? Enjoying work?
    How is I-T?

Worked out what the erroneous item on the cc statement is. I'd booked an internal flight for next week using Air Miles, and forgotten the tax & duty that I'd had to pay. So despite not being in Africa I'd bought something there :rotfl:

Only ONE more big sleep until I go :j:j:j:j:j

    • vaccuum the carpets
    • e-mail the kids :opart done :D
    • PayDay, so must pay off a credit card (the cashback one I pay each month in full)
    • Must also query an item on the statement which will be due for payment next month...... Popeye worked that one out. :D

I've brought the slightly burnt buns in for work - and colleagues are impressed
The kitchen (at home) looks dreadful! :rotfl:
But I've offloaded masses of apples to freezer and colleagues :D (up till midnight peeling, coring apples and baking buns )
I've packed apart from last minute things such as toothbrush which I can carry in tomorrow and my case is in the car ready to leave here in the office tonight.
Now I need to clear my desk.......I've only got the rest of today and tomorrow to catch up. :o

After I've been to the theatre I may update my siggie - I'm hopeful of going sub £10K :j:j:beer: whoop whoop :D

Oh Wol, he is SO going to love being called totty, let alone TOP TOTTY! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'll be on-line some of the time but we're moving around the country (for his work sadly, not a holiday) and I don't think he has a ?dongle? whatever they're called for remote access

Woo hoo .... second the fabby fabness of seeing the OH. Yeah, lets call him top totty - after all, he comes on here to read your posts, as well as emailing and skypeing, that counts for tottiness in the long run!
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • Sadly because of where he is I have not received a single e-mail, nor have we been able to speak to each other today.

I've updated my siggie, and no matter how I jiggled the figures, we're not quite below £10K :rotfl: If I counted the Quidco money and the MS money we would be, but I've always refused to count on them until received......

Following Hypnos example, I've looked at our Home insurance which is up for renewal. I can get it down from £800  to £350 with Cashback :T But Popeye may object to me moving from the company we're with, so I shall phone them in the morning and see if they can improve their quote.....

British Gas have written to us, not unexpectedly, I've been ignoring the shortfall. The letter says they'd like to increase the debit from £38.50 per month to £126  Starting 7th October  I need to look at our figures and see how reasonable that is, but I'm leaving tomorrow
