Travel insurance only £28 for the year :j:j:jbut not available through Quidco  (yeah, I want jam on it ;) )

Contacted the train company because the machines for collecting pre-ordered tickets :money:are somewhat unreliable at the station and no-one could help last week when I couldn't get the machine to recognise my booking references :mad:

At work I have seriously peed off FK, and I know I will end up paying for it :o (caught her out on an error, which I wouldn't have bothered to point out except she blamed me for the fallout........) Fortunately I think the boss could see the whole picture, but I know that she'll be looking to repay the favour......

Last night DD arrived home from holiday with her Dad. She's off today, back to uni. We had a lovely time last night when I got in, curled up on the sofa with the remains of a bottle of wine and chatted about stuff. :D

:o The stuffed mushrooms that I thought I'd put in the freezer have been found, all furry in the microwave where I'd put them to cool away from the cat :o

Oops - that is the sort of thing I do.

My most frequent is that I buy ready cooked hot chickens from the supermarket, but can't put them in the fridge until they are cool, so they go in the microwave to keep them out of the way of the cat.......where they remain for some time
