Olive Oyls 12-month Countdown
Comments

Well I'm back and we're well into Autumn
Done the banking and it is :eek::eek: this month. Need to spend NO MONEY AT ALL for the next 4 weeks
Lodger has moved out, which makes the house feel like mine again, but I'll miss that money. Fortunately she left half a loaf so I've been able to make my lunch without resorting to the caff
Did a survey this morning and will now have around £48 in luncheon vouchers. Now I'd like to know where I can spend them, I'd really like to be able to get Christmas stuff with that money, without embarrassing myself
I need to get some income this month.....
I keep looking for mystery shops, but only managed ONE last month, and haven't seen any convenient for me so far in October. There must be a faster applicant in my town :rotfl:
And I have applied for a focus group - on air travel.....:rotfl::D Should be good if I can get £40 to chat about my experiences over this last year
So I may have to bite the bullet and get listing on e-bay after all.....:o0 -
Where for art thou Olive? Have to say the totals are looking good at the moment. Just thought i would pop in to be sociable like on a Friday night, you are probably out on the raz or busy rehearsing for the play. *sigh* goes off out again.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Oi! I was fiddling with my spreadsheets
Been busy, been miserable & been around but only lurking
But I made it through the month without spending :j
How are you?0 -

Well done on the no spending....tells Mr.B and holds up as an example of what can be done.:T:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks BeannieLou,
funnily enough I was feeling a little more upbeat today,
I guess I'm still trying to come to terms with being a reluctant ex pat in the new year.
And I've been silly enough to talk to friends who've been saying "So what will you DO all day?" Today I talked to a friend who said - "you'll have a ball"
Optimistic, positive and upbeat friends are worth their weight in gold
(should've gone to the MSE forums I know)
