 ****ing RACIST BIGOT.
Aaaaah feel the love... thanks Gizmo
Just because some folk dont explain their first post perfectly its funny how
some other folk feel it ok to jump on a thread and attack the OP..
I havent lived his life nor walked one day in his shoes, so I cant call someone
a racist bigot on those facts alone... so I wont.
Giz Im still feeling the love.. :rotfl:0 -
It wasn't clear to me as to what your reasons were for not attending. Personally I would attend a civil ceremony of a gay couple if they were friends/relatives of mine. If I'd had a problem with one of them in the past either a gay or straight couple I might go I might not, it would totally depend on circumstances and whether me not going would create a problem for my OH. The circumstances have never arisen so don't know if I'd be comfortable taking young children. Learning towards I possibly would but I don't actually know.trademark wrote:"i cant stand people like you"
"you remind me of the people who talk about my race like "yeah very romantic but theyd better not park their caravans anywhere near me"
i thought race would be brought in somehwere .... cant believe the anger contained within some posters ..
thanks to everyone for the replies .... i will not be going to the wedding and certain younger members have been stopped also... not by me but by parents who do not feel it appropriate to let their 5 year old daughter watch two grown women kiss at the end of a ceremony .
also the parents of the other women are not going either ... "they are working" ... yeh right
at least i can be honest and not attend a ceremony that i am not in agreement with , i hope all the do gooders are happy when this society finally fails , and as mentioned before is it fair that a man and a women can not have this same civil ceremony .
also a child needs a mother and father figure , the goverment know this as they promote marriage..... its been proven that those without a mother and father have a higher chance of commiting a crime or failing in life ... this is fact .
this is my final post on this matter as god knows what is coming next ...
"the government promotes marriage" sorry but:rotfl: . I'm actually in the situation where I'd be financially better off by kicking the hubby out. How?

I see what you mean I just think bigot is a heavy word to use..
Maybe the OP is a little older and isnt with the times, I wont call
my Mum a bigot though because she doesnt agree I think its too harsh.0 -

Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -

When its over there.
If it belongs to someone it theirs
I cannot believe that someone would really stop their 5 yr old from going to this ceromony just because they may see 2 women kissing. What a sheltered life that child will lead if she is 'protected' from everything her parents see as wrong. It certainly wont help her when she is all alone in the big wide world. Bloody nuts!!!
