    I think what shook me up (apart from hearing pouring water as I put the key in the door!!!) was the fact it used to be my house, so it still has a bit of a weird emotional 'pull'.

    Ah well, the decorating I did in 1995 was over due for an update I guess :rolleyes: I mean.........a blue ceiling and sand coloured walls......:eek: (it was quite a stylish combination back then - honest!)

    ahhh those were the days! I remember having a bit of a penchant for all the paint effects - sponging, dragging....:o

    I hope he can get it all sorted quickly.

    Anyone got any cough remedies? I'm currently trying the Vicks on the feet and it's sticky but not really helping. It's just dry but oh so annoying.

    Honey and lemon works well if you've got some? or Honey and Yates's Australian wine certainly does the job and it's yummy too!

    when i moved into my old house they had painted the walls in the bedroom midnight blue......all of them:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    took ages to paint over the bloody stuff:rolleyes:

    Vicks on the feet....isnt it usually applied to the chesticle area :confused:

    Covonia is fab but tastes horrible. Have been recommended Cough Nurse, but havent tried it myself yet :D
