  • My god BB, poor you - and poor ex - is there anything you can do for him to prepare for him coming back? How awful, disasters like this always seem so much harder to take because there is nothing you can do - all that water, all that damage, and completely unstoppable :( hope you've got a glass of something strong and warming :grouphug:

I think I'm either too nice, or too stupid, but I'll worry now about how he'll take it/sort it. He doesn't react to emergencies particularly well, one of the neagtive points I remember from us being together. :(

I will be there when he gets back, so he knows to go next door to find out what is turned on/off.

He'll have to move into the spare bedroom. I had a look in there, it's a right tip, so I might help him clear it so he can sleep in there, sorting that room out will be a nightmare to have to do on Saturday night.

The water had even gone between the edge of the ceiling, into the gutters and over the gutter edge into the garden . The rooves slightly overhang the neighbouring property which is what alerted the nosey neighbour - she had water running off his roof into her garden!

    Blimey BB, how horrible, (((hugs))).

Just bought some jeans and some black trousers that tbh I can't really afford but I desperately need some new clothes - I bought nothing for years while we were in debt, but, well, I need decent clothes for work (and to wear on dates ).

Oooh I hope no-one thinks I'm the troll, I've heard IA's music, know her XOH's name and have seen her tattoos, and it disappeared when I did.....

    I'm really not! _pale_
