I went on to AOLs free for a month thingy while I was moving on to BB to stop incuring dial up charges, cancelled it after 18 hours, I HATED it, the AOL woman couldn't understand why I didn't want to use the rest of my free month. I told her "its that !!!!!!, I would rather pay 4p a min than have that crap on my lappy"

Worst thing I ever did was going on that.

  • I have aol platium, don't have any problems with it. If you have a router you don't have to install the software. If you install the software yes it can be difficult to get rid of it all as can wanadoo ect but reformatting is really easy when you have two hard drives and keep all your operating systems on one and your files on the other( or you can partition the hard drive therefore only having to reformat the part with the operating system on)
If you prefer to web browse with IE or firefox then thats fine to you don't have to use the aol softwear if you don't like it.
