You ve got to enjoy yourself on ur 30th do what you want......... my 30th, pre daughter days, there was a group of us went out to Tunisia, and as the hotel was being dropped by English tour operaters we were the last group of guests so decided to go out with a bang. the 4 of us got dressed up, I was a St trinains, my mate went as a fairy, to great delight to the Tunisians as they kept stopping her for photos with their children, another girl went as a red devil and the last lady went as Morticia. So funny as we were away from the main block of the hotel, remember getting changed a bit of dutch courage, my friends husband refused to leave the room he wouldnt come out with us, as we walked across to the main block, got to the door and everyone was there, the ents staff had arranged for everyone to be there, played silly games, I ended up in the pool, went back to room to get changed but my mate wouldnt let me get dressed properly, so there was me in the shower her in the bedroom with a travel hairdryer drying my shirt, so we could go back out. It was the best ngt ever. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Not been upto much today, no real bargains when shopping, cept a few more eggs. Just making some night garden canvas pics to go towards DS2s bedroom which I'm getting changed from winnie the pooh theme to In the night garden for his birthday at the end of March.

    I'm 28, 29 this year.

((((Jammy)))) I hope everything improves for you & yours.

    Sounds a good night Mum2one :D

Goochie, boots do offers on a very regular basis but some are better than others, They advertise the larger point earners such as triple points weekend in there windows, but you can keep an eye on the boots grabbit thread, the first page is updated with the main offers running, while the rest mentions other offers people find. If I hear of any good ones I'll pot them on here so we can get some bargains :)

I am still in my 30's..........hanging on by a thread! will be 40 next month am having a bit of a do at home, between 35-45 people if everyone comes. Have made 6 invites and need to make another 8. I have been buying some food/ drink every week with my shopping to put by for it.

I lost 3 friends to breast cancer i past 2 years ,who were all ages with myself, so really do feel that life is for living and enjoying

This time last year I was doing a job I didn't enjoy and am back working where I worked before. I have more school friendly hours now and I love my work which makes a big difference to day to day life!

When I was 30.....oh so long ago.......I had a 4 day celebration. Friday night had girly night in, Saturday went out for lunch with family, with OMG, the worst hairdo ever...had went to h'dresser to get a french roll in , came out looking 65 with a bouffant. Looking at photos, i am so young, slim and raven haired but looking like I'd my granny's hairdo!! Then went go'karting at night...had to put a helmet over my hairdo....it would hardly fit lol!. On the Sunday had a different crowd of friends over and then on Monday ,my actual birthday had a quiet day with just husband and 2 kids. By the end of my 30th year i had another baby!
I also had 4 birthday cakes!

  • Hugs to Jamtart, these things hit you at the oddest times...I have a tendency to think/cry about the people I've lost when travelling on public transport  Very embarrassing!

Loving the scrapping layouts and tag books guys :)

ETA: I got a bargain gift yesterday, a gillette gift set for £1.75 in the Co-op of all random places! That's OH's dad's birthday sorted :)
