I've been out spending money this morning ... bought my son some wellies that were heavily reduced from £7 to 50p!!!!
Then bought some for my daughter which were half price at £4 however now I cannot take them off .... The man in the shop had to scan her welly with her foot still inside!!! she refuses point blank to take them off the little madam and heaven forbid you try and by golly does she scream :rotfl:
I tried to get myself some wellies and can't get any of them on ... since when did they make welly boots so narrowRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

I am going to complain to welly makers cause I am less than impressed ... OH said he will buy me some new flip flops so I can wear them ... (he is taking the mick as I live in flip flops all year round and rarely wear anything else)

Jammy huge hugs to you, your family and of course your grandad. We are having a similar thing here ( Its part of the reason why i was AWOL ) Grandad had a new knee, he has Myloma(?sp) and last week had to have a biopsy on his kidneys. So if you need someone to talk to you know where i am.

aww thanks you lot you have been so sweet! You have cheered me up so much with your kindnes..:) Had a good old sob last night and think I've cried all my tears away, and was supposed to wake up this morning, plan my work and get on with being positive....
Except I woke up with my face the size of a balloon and a god damn abcess on my tooth! I've never had a filling and have a morbid fear of dentists, so my mother had to (almost literally!!) drag me there this morning. Nightmare! Got to go back next week, and have 3 fillings (OMG!!!) and either a 'molar...*insert fancy word*' or have the tooth out!!!ARGH
So feeling thoroughly sorry for myself, my boss wanted me to stay at work but I've told him I've only come in to do essentials then I'm getting home to relax for a bit! So he has now been told where to go and it felt good!!I am loving this week *not* and it is only 1.30 on Tuesday afternon lol! At least I'm smiling!!
I haven't done anything for the Valentines day camp-out so need to get a rocket up my jacksy on that one - can see me cutting paper hearts out on Saturday afternoon!!!
:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A
